Good Mornin Girls.
Christine: Did you get through the day okay being tired yesterday? I was tired too. I was lying in bed skimming through magazines by 9pm. Sorry you had to skip your ride but you listened to your body and that's very smart. You are a smarter girl then I tend to be. LOL
Carole: I missed Shawn Johnson's gold medal routine. I keep missin' all the good stuff!
DOMS from B&G? Yeah, that's pretty standard I think. Did you wince when you sat on the toilet?
Linda: I am trying it. I am not doing any weight training for the remainder of the week. I started yesterday. We'll see what happens. It's okay right now as I'm still sore from Monday's work out but once that goes away I might get antsy..
Jackie: Are you considering Cathe's new weight vest? It's so awesome. I tried it on at the RT. It's only 10 pounds but seems heavier. I THOUGHT the guy said they will offer heavier versions in the future but don't quote me on that.
Karen: Glad you had such an awesome run yesterday. Gotta love that! So when are we gonna meet for coffee and donuts?
Cathy: DOH! If you haven't figured it out, you can't count on me to remember details all too clearly. LOL Okay yes, now I DO recall that you initially ordered that DVD for C&W. Can't wait to hear what you think of it.
Sorry about about the cracked tooth. YEOWCH! Do you recall biting down on anything that could have caused that or was it a weakened tooth that just cracked over time? I hope the antibiotics have helped to relieve the pain. Nice work out y'day, btw! That's one heck of a mishmosh you created!
Enjoy your day at school setting up. Do you at all enjoy that part of the job or I did I just make it worse by telling you to? LOL
Gloria: Sorry there are no good eateries local to you. Perhaps that's a blessing in disguise, no?
A lockdown? YIKES!
Wendi: Glad you don't have to deal with another hotel stay for the horse show. Good job gettin' the run in this morning. So you ran in the dark with a black bear in the area?? I hope you can mace or something!!!
I bought mace when I first started running outside but was too afraid to use it! Go figure! LOL You have to test it to make sure it works or it's obviously not worth carrying. Well, I was too afraid to test it so I never carried it. I *FINALLY* bucked up and took it on my first training run a few weeks ago. I tested it on the grass to make sure it worked. I was sooo nervous about doing it though! LOL Now that I am using it, it makes me feel much better about running outside. I think the possibility of a loose, mean dog scares me the most!
Lori: You are still battling that cold? You poor thing. No wonder why you are used tantrum girl in your post today. LOL about shunner on my forehead!
Hope you feel better soon!!!
I am planning a TM this morning at the gym. I think I will do ITread 3/40. It's a fast/flat endurance run. It's the first ITread I ever bought and I haven't done it in a while.
I feel so bad for my poor dog. Golden's are known for skin allergies and my dog is no exception. He gets a rash on his belly periodically that goes away on it's own. We are not sure what causes it but the vet saw it a while ago and wasn't worried about it. Well he has that but now he also had something on his backside. They were large open sores or something and he was scratching, chewing and just totally irritating them so they wouldn't heal. I called the vet and made an appointment for last night. So ofcourse DH comes home and sees that they are healing. They've dried up and scabbed so he suggests cancelling the appointment so I do. 15 minutes later, after inspecting the dog, he asks me to call back because he's sees a different looking rash or something on other parts of the dog's body that he's never had before. Well, the appointment is already booked and there are no other appointments available so I hang up. This morning? OMG! It's spread EVERYWHERE! You can't see it cause it's under his fur but when you look at his face he looks pathetic! His snout, jowls are are lumpy looking. Goldens have a natural point at the top of thier skull. Well this point is now a huge lump!!!!
Needless to say I called back and DH is bringing the dog to the vet tonight at 6pm. I am hoping the doc can tell us what caused this so we could avoid it in the future if it's possible but I'll bet with out some ridiculously expensive tests, that won't happen. He'll just give us medication to get rid of it.
Okay, novel over!
BBIAB!
