Hiya cheetahs!! It's a beautiful day here and I'm feeling ready to take on the world and get stuff done
I actually ended up doing ITR twice yesterday (had such fun!) I got about 25 minutes into Straight up Step and the mental fatigue was too much trying to learn it. It goes fast and the steps are tricky... even more then Amy's!
I'll try it again this morning now that my brain has rested! I know it will be megafun once I've learned it.
I spoke with my recruiter for the travel agency I've chosen. (It sounds like I'm in the Army!) I can have my pick and choose of lots of hospitals in the general area of SE Pa. She is researching which will pay me the best--- yes I'm a true mercenary. Whoever can pay me the most can have me ;-)
Christine- HLK is great isn't it? That #2 interval is a wowser for sure. And after that you're only halfway thru
Sorry your tax situation didn't work out well for yax( LOL about your ordering strategy! When I finally am in a position to try out kettleball workouts I'm remembering AOS Newport.... sounds like fun}(
Jackie- Nice to hear another 50something is in a conundrum when it comes to buying clothes! It's so hard to find something in the "women's" dept that fits me and is attractive. The Juniors dept fits me well but I just look plain silly. what to do!! I guess that's why half the time I just wear workout/athletic wear. What's on tap for you today?
Wendi- Hope you got a good nights sleep after a long exhausting day yesterday. I think that's a sign of uberfitness that you no longer consider IMAX 3 to be a big calorie burner;-)
Cathy- Congratulations on getting your life back
Looks like there are several good job opportunities for me just outside the Philly area. I hope to be able to meet up with ya at Cathe's gym
sometime! Whaddoyasay? Great job on getting thru with the Firepower and EXT w/o!
Linda- HLK is a blast IA!!! Easier to pick up then ITF also. Glad to hear your workouts arrived. Did you get Sharon's Athletic Step Jam also?
Lorie- Wow, it'll be a huge TGIF for you tomorrow for sure with the schedule you've had lately.
Sunny- So when is this NC beach run? I'd love the chance to run with you!
Wendy- Actually the 10 miler coincides perfectly with my Marathon training plan for Philly in Nov. I'll use it as a step down week with a 10 mile "paced" run. And then it'll be a long relatively relaxed paced 18 miler the following week with you :7
Carole- Leave it to our Carole to come down with a syndrome no one has ever heard of before!;-)
Semitendinosus? Got to look that one up! Do you need to rest your hammys for a while? Looking forward to your take on ITR!
Dallas- Your poor little DS!!!! That croupy like cough can be exhausting and scary to deal with. They can certainly hang on for quite a while but you are so right to take him to another pediatrician for a second opinion!! Even if it isn't asthma I'm thinking they can give him something to help relax the airways in the meantime. (a bronchodilator) Don't know how you are managing to get in these workouts as well!!!!
Time to get movin here. I'm expecting my Dad sometime this morning.
We are giving my piano to my parents and he is coming over with a trailer. That'll be a workout for me just moving that thing!
I'll be doing Straight up Step first and later HSTA.
