Morning to all.

I took my girls to see the Dr Seuss movie today, Something hears a Who. The girls loved it giggled all the way, I giggled at them giggling!

My workout was a bit unusual today. I was cooking dinner and trying to do a 73 min cardio rotation of Debbies. Well 73 mins turned into two hours!! I kept pausing, turned over the meat,started, paused, put the vegies on turned the meat, started, paused stop the fighting between the kids, start. I am sure you get the picture. I completed it in 2 hours. ;-)

Lori - Glad to hear that cold is clearing up. You still managed a great workout! I hear you about the soreness and the one body part!

Roxie - where do you get your meal ideas from?

Elaine - Sleeping in causes utter chaos!!!The whole morning routine gets outta whack!

Andrea - I had a similar day like you today. I didn't feel like a workout at all - not sick, just a case of the "I can't be bothereds" Good stuff on the eating!

Marcia - i am sorry to hear you are sick. You might need a good long rest. You live a hectic and very busy life! maybe your body is trying to tell you to take some me time.

Kath - I love sweating buckets" workouts. Those little endorphins go wild leaving you a natural "High"

Becca - LOL "hop around??" We do not just "hop around" I'd put the "Hop around in itallics if I knew how, for greater effect. Men, they are the same the world over! :)

Jean - I havn't seen that film yet, I feel very passionate about the men and women in the armed forces.

I hope thats everyone and sorry if I've missed someone.

Another quick checkin today - workout was Yoga - Daily Dose of Bliss = heaven!

We're going away this weekend, so I had to reschedule my clients appts. to get them in before we leave.

so todays workout is a long powerwalk on the TM,ive been going 60 minuts so i will try for maybe 70 today! I just love it! Im not sure what movie I will watch thouh? Maybe my favorite,Pride and Prejudice.

Andrea-LOL at you cooking dinner while working out! High fives on you getting it all done, simontanously;-)!

Shirl-Good Morning!Great job on your yoga. Enjoy your weekend away! May I ask were you guys are going away too?

Quick check in as I scarf down my big bowl of Kashi Vive cereal. I did PUB this am and I am STARVING! I haven't done it in a while and I forgot how hard those abs are. I just stared in awe as she did those pikes and single leg lifts on the ball.

I plan to get on the TM later today, but I have to be out of here in 2 minutes and I haven't showered yet. I think I'm going to be late.x(

I have to work at my other job tonite and it's cloudy here so I couldn't get up so there will be no workout for me today.

Andrea- I just make them up as I go along.

Brkfst-cereal bar
AM snack-yogurt and banana
Lunch-chicken and noodles carrots
PM snack-cheese and crackers and apple
Supper-powerbar of some kind.

Qick Hi for me,

I did 4DS chest,back tris and bis and 20 min of the step portion
of Step,Jump and Pump.

Becca: when I do PUB I try to do my abs first. No way can I do pikes after the bicep section I'll roll right off!:eek:

Andrea: my kids laughed a lot at that movie too!

Ameila: I don't think I could watch a movie and do the TM. I would porbably stop and fall off! LOL

Shirl: Have fun!

Lori: I always felt a loss when my kids gave up their naps. I guess I was mourning my free time.

Roxie: Cloudy days always make me want to sleep in.

Marcia: Feel better soon.

Afternoon Girls :) :)

Here to report workout and catch up on personals. :)

I ran 8 miles this morning at the gym's track. I did it in 68 minutes. I was kinda bummed though. I had a great pace going and then all of a sudden the cleaning lady starts to vacuum the track. I kid you not. I start ealry now to avoid the older people on the track and now I have to dodge the cleaning lady. You would think she would do that when the track is not busy. Oh well. I finished :)I also worked triceps. I'll be having major DOMS later }(

Onto personals:

Lori: I'm sorry I didnt get back here yesterday afternoon as I so promised. But after DD's consult for her wisdom teeth we stopped at the cancer treatment center to see my dad. He was receiving his chemo. He was so happy to see us--then mad cause he hates for us to see him like that. But I'm stubborn :) Then later that evening my mom called. Her neighbor had a basement full of water and the town was trying to get her to leave. She refused. It upset my mom so we went over to see if we could help.

Andrea: Good job on the eating :)

Shirl: Don't you just love the sun? Esp with the winters we have had this year. My glaciers are almost gone :)

Roxie: You go girl on the clean eating

Becca: What's keeping ya busy today? Do you ever get a rest day ? :) When do your kids have their spring break? Good job too on DH getting you out of bed for the workout :) :)

Jean: How was the movie?

Elaine: 7 days from today I leave :) Yup I'm counting :)Great workout yesterday

Amelia: You are working out like crazy. Feels good huh?

idream: Great working while cooking--I bet you burned a few extra calories. Better than the food huh?

That catches me up for now. I need a napkin--I'm inhaling my salad :9

Hi there. Whew it's been busy today! Again, I'm not feeling like I'm getting much done, though. Frustrating!

Didn't WO this morning - I had LB on tap and I was just TIRED. I will either do it tonight or tomorrow. I had a rest day scheduled for Sunday and will have to juggle things a bit now, but that's OK. The SCHEDULE isn't the important part, the WO - whenever it gets done - IS.

Andrea - I can't even imagine cooking and trying to WO at the same time. I HAVE paused to stop the fighting, though :)

Becca - those PUB abs ARE hard. I just did knee pull-ins instead of the pikes the other day. I did MOST of the reps but not all. Again, it's just important to TRY.

Marcia and Lori - hope you're both feeling better today.

Hi to Amelia, Roxie, Kath, Shirl, Elaine and anyone else I've missed.

Time for me to get back to work. I'll TTYL - enjoy the rest of the day!
 
Hey Girls!

Im at work again and just getting a bit of alone time. Not sure how long it will last though.

Todays workout was GS&PUB Bics, 6mile run,4DSKB (extra burn in the bics) and abs.I think my arms are gonna be sore tomorrow. I hope by tris won't be cause thats on tap!!

Roxie** Just curious, do you have any kiddos?

Becca** I did PUB abs the other day and I was sore for about 2 days, great workout!

Andrea** Ive cooked and worked out before as well. You do what you gotta do right?:)

Kath** I guess you have some good excuses why you didn't return! hehe I hope your dad is feeling o.k. Does it look like he will pull through?

Shirl** Good job this a.m.

Elaine** I love the 4DS weight work as well. I think that is what I will do next week when working 1 body part per day.

Andrea** Hope you get your workout in.

I had shake and bake for supper and the thrist factor is starting to kick in!!! Must go do some work, I suppose!

Good evening everyone. This morning I got up and did 4DS chest and back. I’m starting to ease back into some weight workouts. Tris and Bis from the other day didn’t leave me with any doms so maybe I’m easing in too easy, LOL.

Andrea ( idream) working out while cooking dinner now that’s multi tasking. I would have ended up with burnt food and a lousy workout.

Shirl, have a wonder weekend. Going anywhere special?

Amelia, glad you’re enjoying your power walking. Nice job on 60 minutes.

Becca, nice job on the PUB. Gotta love those pikes. Just wait for the 1 legged one in STS.

Roxie, sorry you didn’t get a workout in. Hope you’re back at it tomorrow.

Elaine, nice workout. My Dd was never much of a napper so I didn’t have to adjust when she stopped all together.

Kath, I had to grin imagining you dodging the vacuum cleaner on each lap or hurdling over it. Hope you dad’s chemo goes well. Hope he has minimal side effects after each treatment. That’s terrible about your mom’s neighbor. Hope that gets resolved.

Andrea, hope you get your work out in. I hate those hectic days.

Lori, you workouts are always amazing. How long do you usually work out?

A couple of you mentioned the movie (“Stop Loss”). I liked it. It looked like it tried to show how this war affects the soldiers each differently and a little bit of what they go through. My heart goes out to all who support their country for the freedom of others.

Didn't get my WO in this evening :-( . BUT, I have a PLAN - since I had LB scheduled for today and cardio for tomorrow, I will do 4DS kickbox/legs and hit it all in one WO. Darn cat is up (and visiting me every 2 min) @ 5:15am so I might as well get up. Food isn't perfect, but cleaner than it has been in a LOOOOOONG time :)

Jean, I had a little DOMS (but not much) from PUB the other day, so I think I need to up my weights too. As hard as the abs seemed @ the time, no DOMS from that so I will need to try harder (do more reps - or actually try the pikes) next time.

Quiet evening here (for a change). DD had cheerleading practice this afternoon. She fell out of a pyramid and she said her "everything hurt" (she's only 5). She fell asleep watching TV at about 7:30. DS practiced piano and is now relaxing and I think I'm going to go read for a bit and then hit the sack early tonight.
