Hi guys,

I've returned from my sisters place, 5 stone lighter than when I left!:-( :-(

So, this week I'M off and running!! (Not quite literally) but very very determined to eat cleanish and stay cleanish. Note : I say cleaninsh because I am not living in La La Land, I know my limits and I know I couldn't stop junk and sweet things.

My workout today was GS biceps and tris, MIS biceps and tris, First 4 intervals of LOw Max step premix only. I will try to get in some pilates but i am running short on time, I still have to bath the kids and feed my horse, and stuff like that.

Kath I read yesturdays posts and is it true? You eat no sweet things? Nothing? Nil, None, Zilch?

Good Morning Gals!

I feel like I got ran over my a truck...then he backed up and ran over me again! Ugh, I don't really have the cold as such, more of a cough that kept me awake part of the night and now my troat is sooo sore it isn't even funny!
Still got up and did my workout though:) Noth'ins gonna keep this girl down:)
Did DM and a 4 mile run. Good workout. I had more energy then I thought I did. My job is pretty low key so I like to get up and moving in the morning:)

Andrea** What do you mean by 5 stones lighter? I love the fact that you know what you are capable of. Sometimes I say to myself,Im not going to eat any sweets for the rest of the week!:-( Come off of it! Who am I kidding? I know I can't make it the next hour, never mind a week! And I think you read right. Miss Kath don't eat anything bad!!! I think she is lying!;) hehe

No disappointment; my sister doesn't like sweets either. ^5 for not be tempted by sweets. I'm working on my love/hate relationship w/sweets. ;)

I ended up doing a 60 min Powerwalk yesterday on the TM while watching "The Long Hot Summer' with one of my "oh I wish i was a teenager in those days" men Paul Newnam. Man he was HOT when he was younger!:9 }( My DH just rolls his eyes when he sees me pull that DVD out,LOL

Kath-LOL at you being a$$ high in cookies the other day! Yeah,good thing you don't have a sweet tooth. Great workout girlfriend,high fives to ya! Do you usually workout at the gym?

Roxie-Glad to hear your doggie is eating a little bit agian!

Andrea-I too would like to know how many stones make a lb?

Lori-I read your post in OD,you've got some great advice in the replies...I agree with everybody,Cathy made a great point about your DD maybe being influenced by your MIL/Mother. sigh,ive got six years before i have to deal with all that stuff...

Well,my day yesterday was fun. I really wanted to go shopping though}( maybe today? I kept getting allergic reactions to the animals so i quite petting them}( i brough my benedryl cream so i was all good:7

I ate some chocolate yesterday and ive pinpointed it to be the culprit behind me basicly going into a coma after dinner,MAN i was so sleepy i ended up going to be around 9 last nightx(! I went all last week with no sweets,so im proud of that! I do however eat one SF fudge pop after my fith meal...and OMG is it good;-)

IM SO EXCITED,Today is the MLB opening day for my ATL braves-WHOOHOO:& first game is tonight:7:7. Ima baseball freak,anybody else here one?

Oh and BTW,im the worst speller-sometimes i catch it but most of the time i just don't care so I applogize if anybody sees one of my "boo-boos";-)

Good Morning Everyone,

Excited to say that the scale showed that I was down 3lbs. I work every other wknd at a little place in the mall that sells pop, coffee, cigarrets, cigars, icees and such and it was busy so I didn't have time to sit around and eat all day and supper was 2 slices of taco pizza with no meat. I didn't get a workout in because I had to go to wal-mart when I got off at 3. Today I get off at 2 so I will do the TM then stretch.

Andrea- is 5 stones the same as 5lbs if so congrats.

Lori-hope you get to feeling better, I'm with you on Kath hiding truth, how can you not like sweets.

Shirl-way fight sweets moderation is the key.

Amelia-sorry to hear about your allergy problem, I have hayfever so spring kills me.

Hi everyone. Remember me? Gone missing for awhile. My first challenge ended and I learned some things about myself. Now I'm starting over - doing BFL for Women - official start will be tomorrow although I did measurements & pics today just cuz I have more time.

So tomorrow's WO is scheduled to be cardio (30min minimum) - no problem. I'm planning on the LIC cardio premix - that's one of my favorites so I'll be sure to do it. UB weights on Tuesday, I'm planning PUB (again one of my faves). Cardio Wednesday - I'm thinking 4DS KB cardio or a KPC premix. LB Thursday - probably L&G for me this time. Cardio Friday - maybe CF step only premix. UB Sat, either PUB or one of the Gym Styles.

Food should be OK - it's a lot like WW Core plan, I just need to "redistribute" some nutrients - like protein @ every meal & snack. That might be a bit of a problem for me especially for breakfast, but I'll work thru it. Persistence...not perfection...

OK, I've gotta scoot. I'm really glad to see that some of you have elected to stay around. I really did find this group helpful even though I disappeared more than I care to admit. TTYL!

Amelia: I had choclate last night. I was a little stressed out.

Roxie: Glad to hear your dog is getting better.

Kath: No sweets!!:eek: I try so hard, but can't quite get there. Kudos to you!

Lori: I hope the cold is a quick one. My 7yr old DS seem to be getting better until last night he could't sleep and said his ears hurt. Sure enough he has an ear infection. His first one.

Sorry, MY 5 stones lighter was a super major typo! It was supposed to read 5 stones HEAVIER!!

Us oldies still talk in stone, 5 kilos make one stone and each kilo is worth 2.2 pounds.

I was trying to be funny/sad/depressed/sarcastic all in the one line and instead typed it wrong and fell flat on my face!! Well, that didn;t work!x(

Lori- when you go to work with a sick child at home, it is nice, for the break but how many times did you phone home to check in? I do that, go in to work, enjoy the peace and quiet but still worry!

Roxie - I've eaten nothing but crappy foods all weekend and I have put ON WEIGHT! The food included chocolate. So today I will be starting my choclate for me, for ever Ha!

Kath Are you trying to loose weight or maintain where you are at?

Amelia You deserve to feel chuffed. You are doing very very well and so close to the end! I am envious of your self control.

Shirl - Are you also trying to loose weight?

Marcia - Do you have a hubby and children? I don't know how you fit your busy schedule in. When do you sleep?

Hi everyone. No work out for me unless you count the calories burned stressing out while working in my office and on taxes this weekend. I stated earlier in the week that I would be trying to maintain this week because I knew I would be super busy. Well cycle is right around the corner so weight is creeping up. Plus I finished off the Easter goodies. Wish I had no desire for sweets. Oh well , I love my sweets. I also enjoy an occasional social drink and salty food and breads. OK, I think the hormonal cravings are starting to kick in.LOL.


Andrea (Idream). throw those stones out and get back at it. Your little batman quote sounds like my menu for this past week. Arrggh!

Lori, hope you are feeling better soon. How is your little one doing?

Shirl, I don't have a love/hate relationship with sweets. I just love them.

Kath, my Dh doesn't care much for sweets either. Which is good for me in two ways. 1)He doesn't buy them so I'm not tempted and 2)when I buy them, more for me. LOL

Amelia, sorry about the allergic reaction. Glad your day was good though. Not much of a baseball fan here. Then again I'm in Ranger country and we haven't had something to get excited about in a long time. At least they have improved a little over the past couple of years. We usually only go to 1 or 2 games a year.

Roxie, great job on the 3 lbs. Keep up the great work.

Elaine, sorry to hear about the ear infection. Wow first one at age 7. My dd had so many starting when she was a baby. She had to have tubes put in by the time she was 2.

Welcome back Andrea H. Good luck with the BFL. Your workout plan for the week sound great.
