Cathe,
Growing up- did you like wearing glasses? And if not, did you ever think that when you were older you would receive comments like these regarding wearing glasses?
I know it's been a couple of days since you were on this subject, but I thought it was worth asking you another question about your experience with Lasik.
When I met you last August, one of the many things that comes back to me was your beautiful eyes and the fact that you appear to have large pupils. What does this have to do with my question? I went for a consultation with a local Opthamologist(whom at the time performed both laser and lasik procedures) and was rejected as a candidate for lasik because of having large pupils and the fact that my eyesight is so bad (- my contacts have the number -9.5 on one and -8.5 on the other).
My doctor said that certainly there were other doctors that would in fact perform the procedure, however, it was likely that I would not be happy with the results. He also reassured me of the many new procedures that they are working on and coming up with now.
I don't fancy myself as a guinea pig. Maybe I should just be happy with the fact that I am able to wear contacts! I'm not sure.
It's been several years since your surgery, correct? And if so, have you had any problems with halos or instability in your eye?
