Yeah! Cathe just posted that there will be a 2013 RT:) It's in NJ, was kind of hoping for a new place too but I'm excited anyway!! Hope I can get in:) More will be announced in her next news letter.
 
Man i wish i could go, but dont know how much it would cost, afraid to travel that far alone, and i might get lost! Man i want to go. Maybe ill try to save for it but still hate traveling not knowing how to get there by myself.
 
Cathe does the Jersey Roadtrip every year because it is her home base.

I'm guessing that she may not travel too far now considering her dad is sick and she did explain at one point how expensive it is to ship all of the equipment to different cities and back to Jersey.

I can totally understand though because shipping isn't cheap. I would love if she could come to Phoenix one day but Jersey is where the studio is and it would be really fun to be in her element there.

I would love to go just a little fearful about flying from Phoenix to Jersey. Maybe next she if she has it I will try to attend, need to start saving for it though :)
 
Renee you should definitely try to go if you can. I went last year for the first time. I was scared to death since I am somewhat introverted, plus I had to travel from Washington state. I had an absolute blast. It was probably a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me, but I am so glad I did it. I hope you get to do it too. You won't regret it!
 
Katrina yea i told my hubby i wanted to. He said if i cant this yr maybe we can make it happen next yr.
Funny u should say that..im usualy an intravert unless i know a person. I can talk and im kind of a clown. I love to joke But i usualy i have to get to know people first. Once i do then im ok but it depends on others to. If im not comfortable im very shy. On the forums ..well i talk alot, lol. Id love to go one day and i love most of the people i talk to on forums so far as well. I wish i had a group of Cathe friends here where i live. I moved here along time ago and have not found real, genuine friends with like interests yet!
 
My first trip was in 2007. I'm not a social butterfly and I was scared to go by myself, not knowing a soul. I figured I could get lost in a crowd with 105 people. I had the BEST time. I'm from Colorado and I was on such a high for weeks after. If you get the chance to go, do it. I went again in 2008 and 2010. $$ has kept me from going the last couple years and it looks like it will again this year. I'm happy I was able to go 3 times.

If you get the opportunity, do it. Everyone is so nice, so friendly, and Cathe and crew are the best!! You will have soo much fun!!
 
I want to say "one of these days" but then I feel I'm taking every day for granted.
I definitely hope Cathe hosts another one this year because I've already planned a June trip with my mom to see my family in Montana. Doh!
 
Every year I think I'd love to go, who will go with me? But you guys are giving me the confidence and motivation to try it on my own! I'd love to go at least once.

I imagine it would be a blast (calories and fun)!

I've only gone to one a couple years ago when she came to CA. Didn't have to travel far but once the trip is announced forum members begin planning on meeting up, sharing taxis and rooms, etc.

It is such a great weekend . . . and you'll see all the forum members who you recognize and they recognize you just from your picture here. They do a great job of helping you meet others. You can "talk" off forum too if you need to exchange Ph #s to meet up or set up a place to meet.

If you can go . . . GO. As others will tell you, it us a wonderful experience !
 
Never let being "alone" hold you back from a Cathe RT. I promise you it will take mere minutes to make friends and be pulled right into the fun. I headed to my first roadtrip alone and have never looked back! And if you get there and need reassurance then search me out! As long as I can secure my spot!!! YIKES!
 
Every year I think about going. I've been a Cathe fan from the very beginning.The only thing that keeps me back is the idea of going alone and not knowing anyone. Maybe this year I'll take the plunge.
 
I went to my first one in 05 and didn't know anyone except 1 person who I had "met" on the weight watchers forum. We met in person for the first time the day of the Roadtrip. Since then I have attended several and have truly met some wonderful people who are now great friends. Don't let being shy or going alone be the reason you don't go. Meeting like minded people and working out live with Cathe is a great experience.
 
Take the plunge. It is so worth it. If you are going, and don't know anyone, give us a heads up. We will all look for you there.

And I agree with all of the lovely ladies above re: going when you don't know anyone. I didn't know anyone at my first RT in 2007, and met so many great people. Even if you're an introvert, everyone has Cathe in common, so there's always something to talk about! Cathe RTs have given me some of the best friends in the whole wide world.
