RE: Cathe, Is it possible to purchase the

I have been exercising but not using Cathe Dvd's and the new DVD set is actually my first set of Cathe workouts. I never heard of CK Sales until now. I will check them out for the future. I am hoping that I won't be charged too much.

RE: Cathe, Is it possible to purchase the

Sherry I hope it too.I don't understand why SNM don't post a reply here.

I hope someone is going to reply too. I still don't quite understand why those of us who ordered from CK Sales didn't receive the "special gift" It seems like anyone who ordered through Cathe.com, (no matter when they ordered), received the gift. In the end we all paid the same price, but some customers got 5 dvds and some got 4. I know it seems like I'm whining, and I guess I am, but really just an explanation would be nice, and a chance to at least purchase it. Anyway, I am not going to post again on the subject.

RE: Cathe, Is it possible to purchase the

Actually, now we know, that Cathe included the gift for anyone who ordered from Cathe.com regardless of when they preordered. Also they only had to preorder one title to get the gift.

RE: Cathe, Is it possible to purchase the

WOW!! I am beyond disappointed regarding the bonus disc. As I've stated before, those that ordered through cksales did it because it is a recommended place right here on this site for Canadians to purchase Cathe dvd's. It wouldn't have been hard to find out from cksales how many pre-ordered and kept the pre-order. To find out that everyone that pre-ordered on Cathe's site, even if it was only one dvd, got the bonus workout is disappointing. I think excluding cksales customers was a poor P.R. move. So much for being a loyal customer.

It's also interesting that the question that started this thread has yet to be answered.

Michele it is suprising isn't it? Even people who preordered after the final filming date (was that around July/August 2006) was announced received the gift. I'm glad for them so don't hear me wrong. It just shows that it was not because you were loyal to the original preorder though.

While I have my opinions on whether CKSales orders 'deserve' the gift as much as those who 'invested' in SNM by having their CC charged right away, I certainly think they are more deserving of it that those who ordered in the last few months. But it's Cathe's choice, and as the 'giver' it's totally up to her.

I lied, I am going to post again :) I didn't know this. I am happy for them, but now I am really disappointed!

RE: Cathe, Is it possible to purchase the

Even people that cancelled their original pre-order and then re-ordered before the pre-order ended got the free gift.

And Cathe does not need to know WHO ordered from CK Sales all she needs to know from them is how many people pre-ordered.

Since they are the suggested vendor from SNM those people should get the free gift as well.

Those that seem to think they are superior because Cathe held onto their cash for over a year need to get over themselves.

It's not an issue of thinking we're "superior," it's an issue of that money, as little as it may be, being in my savings account earning interest.

Jeez, talk about sour grapes, there's no need to insult people who got the gift just b/c you didn't.

RE: Cathe, Is it possible to purchase the

I never pre-ordered so I have no sour grapes.

I feel bad for those that ordered the way SNM has advised them to do so and just because that vendor does not take the money up front they are penalized.

But like everything else SNM does this was not thought through. They fly by the seat of their pants and hope for the best. Then wonder why things blow up in their face.

The ONLY good thing that has come out of this fiasco is that they admitted there was a problem, unlike other series where they have told people to buy new dvd players.

Cathe's releases are not like a prom, where you get a new dress each year. You should not have to buy a new dvd player each year to play a Cathe series.

I completely agree. As a long time Cathe devotee I am trying to not feel so slighted by this, including the lack of an explanation, but I do. If Cathe feels that those who do not order directly from her website are not supporters then she should not recommend that they purchase through CK Sales, even if they are located in a different country. The whole thing has left me with a negative feeling that I’ve never had before about Cathe.

RE: Cathe, Is it possible to purchase the

I feel the same way. I feel snubbed as a long time loyal customer. I have purchased all of Cathe's workouts and my money does support her business, through CK sales. I'm not about to get upset over this but I would like to know if the DVD will be made available to purchase at some point.

RE: Cathe, Is it possible to purchase the

Just a thought - hopefully I don't get flamed...

Maybe the reason SNM has not answered is because they are trying to determine how to handle this situation. Maybe it did not occur to them, and CK Sales may not have been willing to take responsibility for the Bonus DVD's or they may have been unwilling to share specific details with SNM. Until there is an answer, I would think giving SNM the benefit of the doubt might be a good thing. Cathe is nothing if not fair, as evidenced by the fact that even the people who ordered on the last day got the bonus DVD.

It's very possible. If that is the case then a short "we're looking into this" or a "we've decided against making the extra DVD available to CK Sales/Advanced Workout purchasers" would eliminate the speculation.

RE: Cathe, Is it possible to purchase the

Think about it - if they say, "We're looking into this", many would automatically assume that it was simply a matter of time before the bonus DVD's ship to CK Sales customers. If they look into it and decide that they cannot possibly do that, the problem would be worse than if they allow idle speculation. Until they have an answer, they cannot post a word because it would be impossible to write a message that would not be misinterpreted.

RE: Cathe, Is it possible to purchase the

this is a perfect example of cathe being damned if she does and damned if she doesn't....

i want all of you to think the next time you feel OBLIGATED to give a GIFT.... oh wait... there should be no OBLIGATion for giving a GIFT! a gift is just that... something the giver decides to give and who to give it to!

if someone demanded a GIFT from me.... i wouldn't give it to them! cuz that takes all the joy out of gift giving... i decide WHO gets a gift and i decide how much i spend on that gift.... the receiver has NO say in it whatsoever (and if they aren't a receiver... it's cuz i, as the giver, decided for WHATEVER reason.... not to gift them....)

cathe.... i feel horrible for you that this gift has turned into something so ugly....

(i'm willing to bet cathe never gives out a free GIFT again after this fiasco!)
