Short Answer: YES
Long Answer:
It does seem technically challenged until the first time you try it. It is super easy to do.
Both the options Sean provides (download or CD) are verstaile because you can do everything (listen as CD, listen from PC, listen from MP3 player) with both.
a. If you buy the download: You can easily burn it as a CD yourself if you have a PC with a CD burner drive. Super easy to do. You could also listen off the PC or transfer to an mp3 player.
b. If you buy the CD: You can import the CD as MP3 files onto your PC and do all that you asked in your question. Again it only takes a few seconds.
