Cardio Camp!!!

Wow! I've forgotten how much I LOVE this workout! If you're in the market for some floor cardio you may want to consider this one. The cardio portion alternates between hi/lo and kickboxing (50 minutes). It's more of a steady state cardio workout, with a few higher intensity drills thrown in. It ends with some leg sculpting drills for about 15 minutes. It's a great one to pull out when you want to do some non step cardio but you don't want to kill yourself. I did it today and burned a little over 600 calories (I'm 5'7'' and 140ish) so that's pretty good for a non intense workout. :) Oh, and yes this is another Kimberly Spreen workout ;-) .

I agree this is a great workout and I loved it too. I burned 466 calories (I'm 5'2" and 122lbs.) It was a lot of fun and easy to follow and the leg drills at the end were good and effective. One of the few really good hi/lo workouts out there.

CAROLYN!!! Stop it!!!

I did Absolute Kickboxing on Saturday with my new body bar and I meant to post a thread after to thank you profusely for recommending it. Now I suppose I'll have to get this one too:)

Oh, there's no stopping me Shelley!}(
But I'm glad you liked AK. It's a keeper huh? :)

Oh, now I'm so confused!! I love Absolute Kickboxing and Kimberley's style but I read some of the reviews for this workout in Collagevideo that seem to say that it's not an advanced workout and somewhat repititious in terms of choreography.

What's a girl to do?

X - I would agree that this workout isn't high intensity. I don't think Absolute Kickboxing is either though. I would consider them both more steady state cardio - with small blips of intensity (although AK may be more intense with the bar).
Also, I think it's easy to step up the intensity with kickboxing. Adding jumps and really focusing on form really helps me get my HR up. In terms of repetition, she does combine all of the hi/lo and kickboxing routines at the end. Maybe that's what they mean about repetitious? Oh, and some of her KB moves are repeated in other videos, which was ok with me because there was the hi/lo portion to offset that.
There may be a clip on collage.com if you're interested. You may even be able to find a used copy on amazon or something.

Well, if it's at all "Absolutish" then I'll like it. I do love those side standing oblique crunches. "Can you say waistline Baby?".

Thanks for that clarification, I'm in!

I love Cardio Camp too! I wear my weighted gloves and that brings the intensity up a bit. Another great workout from Kimberly. :)

I am ordering cardio camp and absolute kickboxing. I LOVE Kimberly Spreen. She and Cathe are my two favorites. I love Kimbelyl's music in all her workouts they rock.

I can't wait to order them both. I wish absolute kickboxing was on ddd but I have only found it on collage video. Anyone else find absolute kickboxing a little cheaper than collage video for 19.99? I am still getting it if not.

Have a good day

Debbie:)
