Can't do 60% 1 RM

I'm starting off doing the plan as 2 weeks of each because endurance isnt my strong suit! so I am absolutely benefiting more from 2nd workout ... I may move to just one week of each in Meso 2 & 3 tho.

I agree that the point of the 1RM is to make sure you start off with the appropriate weight load but I dont think its "expected" to stick with it the entire workout unless you already have tons of endurance. I usually dont lift endurance style so its very challenging. My guess is that people who have always done endurance work are finding this Meso "easier" than the rest and with each changing meso different folks will feel differently. I cant wait to get to Meso 2 since that is how I generally lift. - It will be great to see how Cathe can still get me! ;)

I am losing my ability to stick with the 1RM weight around the 1/2 way point in every workout. What I'm doing is still starting the set with the 1RM wt and doing as many reps as I can and then dropping the wt load to complete the reps. I'm in week 4 of 8 for Meso 1 now and I can definitely tell my endurance is already improving. Since my plan seems to be working for me I'll stick with it.

I'm doing the 6 month so I am absolutely benefiting more from 2nd workout ...

Not sure, but I thought I read somewhere that you don't do the 1RM for the 21 exercises. Seems like SNM said it won't work for any exercise like that. Maybe someone else can chime in.
You are probably correct on this, I think I'll be lowering my weights on these 'unconventional' sets in the future.

Overall though, I go through the end using my listed 1RMs through the entire workouts and find it very accurate, but I do end up going slower on some sets than Cathe and crew, which is fine, even Cathe said she had to go slower on some when she did disc 1! Which certainly makes me feel better about that ;).

I did find that I tested a couple of tricep kickback exercises completely wrong, I knew the weight looked just way off the chart heavy for me. I think I was standing up way too much when doing the test, making it possible for me to lift heavier, then when I tried to do it the right way, Cathe's way, I couldn't even lift one! So I just redid those few tests altogether with correct form, and came out with the right numbers.
