Butts & Guts question

Hello-

I got Butts & Guts on Friday and would like to try it today. I see I need ankle weights and I don't have any yet. Can I still get a good workout if I do it without the ankle weights?

u betcha u can....ur still gonna burn....and burn good....hee hee hee(evil laugh inserted...courtesy of horsing around....lol)

B&G is a great workout, with or without the floor portion. The 2 ab workouts are great too. Can't wait to hear what you think!
 
I just did this one on Saturday! I usually skip the floor section with the ankle weights because I avoid kneeling exercises at all costs due to knee problems. I did the whole workout (minus the floor section) with the abs and bonus sections! You WILL feel the butt burn (in a good way of course)!:p
 
Ankle weights are definitely not needed to feel the burn! BTW, at least one of the premixes on that DVD has exercises that aren't in the main workout. It is amazing the ab pain Cathe causes with just a stability ball.
 
The first time I did Butts & Guts, I did not use ankle weights; it wasn't easy. The second time I did use weights for somethings, but for floor work when Cathe said "we're going to keep our ankle weights on" I said "no we're not" :) I don't think I'd be able to lift my legs at all had I left them on.
 
B&G is amazing! I did it yesterday and when I went to bed I thought there may be a chance I could not get up today!!! But, I did and I feel awesome!!!

B&G is my fav!!!!! And you do not need the ankle weights to get a burn!!!:p
 
I couldn't agree more with Missy!

One of my favorites :) Major DOMS every time :)

And...you do not need ankle weights. I use 1lb weights and feel a MAJOR burn!
