Butts & Buts vs Legs & Glutes

Hi,

In your opinion how is butts and guts different
than legs and glutes? I have legs and glutes and
trying to decide if I should get B&G.

Thanks
:)

I like Butts and Guts much more! They are similar though that they both use lighter weights.......but I like working my legs and core in one workout. I love love the firewalkers and how she does the lunges and plie squats in Butts and Guts and I love the floor work in Butts and Gutts :)

So far Butts and Gutts is my favorite lower body workout - and I have all of them : ) and not because its new because even after GS Legs, I still liked Legs and Glutes better, but now...........I am all about butts and gutts :)

I am doing that one tonight with the bonus segment added on - my legs should be on fire!

For me they seem to attack different muscles. I think anytime you do different moves you work the muscle differently. Cathe masterfully created an entirely new approach to Butts & Guts. I do L&G alot and I was still in much good pain after B&G. The muscles are just worked differently.

I like both of them but definitely feel like Butts & Guts works the muscles in different ways. The firewalkers are a good example. B&G also has two great ab routines which I think it's worth getting it just for those workouts.

Absolutely second what everyone is saying - B&G is very different than L&G. B&G targets mainly the glutes (hence the name). I find it a bit tougher (could be because I've only done it once), and was basically begging Cathe at the end to stop already (something I've never done in any other Cathe workout - including L&G, GS Legs OR Leaner Legs)!

I love both workouts. But yes my favorite now is B&G. It is longer and has some different moves. Also I love the two ab workouts @ 15 minutes each or do both @ 30 minutes. One core, one stability ball great idea to include this to the workout. Great for add-ons.

You should really get BG. I works you so well. You'll feel this work out for days after you've done it. Infact I just did this work out today and I know I'll be paying for it tomorrow. :)

I can't compare the two, as I only have B&G, but have to say it is wonderful! I did it yesterday. I could not do all the reps, and did not have a barbell, so it was much modified. I didn't want to be too sore from it. Yesterday I was okay. Today my rear is letting me know it got worked. The Ab workout on this one is great too. It is altogether excellent in my view. :)

I have both workouts, and while they are both good, I can see myself using B&G a lot, but I never seem to use L & G much.

B&G has some moves in you won't see in other Cathe workouts, and it has a nice fresh feel to it. It's a real glute (and leg) burner! I still haven't done the 'guts' segment of it yet, but I get a great workout from the 'butt' section alone. It definitely hits the glutes a bit more than any of Cathe's other lower body workouts, and would be great to alternate with L+G (not on consecutive days, though...if you want to be able to walk!).

I have both workouts and I can't get enough of Butts and Guts. I love the music and it really puts a burn where it counts. L&G is good and I do feel it the next day. But I laugh and clap and have a riot of a good time while tears are forming in my eyes from the burn in my glutes while doing those firewalkers. Butts and Guts is a must.
