Butts and Guts on Crack!!!!

I think it's more than obvious that Cathe and Chris meant NOTHING AT ALL by making that comment. I, like many others, found nothing offensive about it. So let's just let it go and move on.:)

I just wish everyone would be positive around here. I think we all have enough crap in our lives to deal with on a daily basis and these forums are a great getaway (at least for me) and I, along with several others I'm sure, don't want to deal with negativity here also. So let's just all get along.
 
Wow. The PC police are in over-drive!!!

I understand the sensitivies to this issue, really. But context is everything! I would hope everyone could take this comment in the spirit in which it was made.:7

Actually things are quite nice here. The concerns brought up in this thread were carried over from another forum ;) .

I just want to say I'm sorry that you and Cathe are in a position of taking grief for what was clearly a light-hearted, innocent joke.

By no means was Cathe or crew endorsing addiction nor is there now a Cathe & crack connection. With all due respect, think about how ludicrous that sounds.

I seriously think some folks need to take a step back and THINK before instantly taking offense and firing off a post. It seems that there is some pretty thin skin around here lately.

Of course, I feel for any family coping with suffering or loss drug-related or other. I'm sure many of us have a trigger word or words that press upon personally sensitive issues. I know I have one in particular that is used rather often in a joking reference by people around me, on TV, etc. I don't fall apart or become incensed every time it's used. I might be upset if I believed the comment was made to intentionally hurt me. But that's never been the case. It was so very obviously not the case with the Butts and Guts on Crack comment.

Please, let's try to keep a sense of humor and not take everything personally.

I'm just so glad Cathe isn't serious all of the time! I love it when she is being funny. She doesn't seem to be the type to ever willingly offend anyone.
 
This makes me think that Cathe won't share any behind the scenes with us anymore, just because some people took this the wrong way. :(

Sure she will! I think Cathe has a much thicker skin than some of her defenders and detractors ;)
 
Wow, how am I just now seeing this thread? I don't have much to add to the discussion other than to give 100% of my support to Heather and Cathe and SNM. Okay, I can't give 100% to 3 people - so I'll give 33% to Heather, 33% to Cathe and 33% to SNM. But Cathe is part of SNM, so that means she's going to get a little extra and that's not fair either. Hmmmm *gets out pencil and calculator*...

Oh would I love to go into a rant about people nowdays being so friggin uptight and "offended", SHEESH! Are we living back in the Victorian age for goodness sakes? No one has a sense of humor anymore, and when you make a silly joke... heaven help you! Because lord knows, someone is gonna get "offended!" Sick of it, just sick of it.
