BUFF BADGERS Week of Feb. 7

Hey all! Yesterday was disk 26 and today I did KPC. well, I did the C part yesterday because I knew I wouldn´t have time today!

heartymax, I bought pace weights purposely for STS. I think the small increase is one of the key components to the program,but everyone can modify depending upon what they have.

Sue, hope things work out with the boss. Glad you´re getting some workouts in...they help with that stress ;)

Karen, I have one audio workout with Jeff Galloway and just signed up for his newsletter. Don´t let me fool you I run only between 2.5 -4 miles right now and always outside, so I get out maybe once a week. Usually my first race is our Cheese Chase the first Friday of June. It´s 10K...I wish they would offer a 5K;)

Laurie, How´s the hair??? Did you get a new style?

Susan,Hope you feel better. Did you get a workout in?
 
Today was STS Legs Disc 6. For some reason I felt like I accomplished something because I closed up the disc case and put it away. They come 6 in a case so it like a sense of accomplishment.:D Those sliding lunges and picking up the weights are burners!! I still cannot do the wall squats with the ball where you have to pick up the weights.

Laurie and lala---thanks for your input.....you are absolutely right...I need to plan the small incremental weight increases. I just hate spending more money---but I know I purchased STS to get results.

Sue---it has been cold here this week too. We only got a dusting the other dy but it was so cold until school had a delay that morning.

Susan---I hope you decided to get some rest.

Karen---I previewed one of plyo legs from MESO 3 the other day. OMG is all I can say.

Morning Ladies,

4DS Kickboxing in it's entirety for me this morning. Had to get up earlier to finish this one in the alotted time. :D

Susan, I have been hearing from a lot of people that they are getting a sore throat. :( I kept my color the same, and just had her do a trim. She styled it really cute, and I was able to keep the style going for this morning.

Sue, I wasn't in a hurry to find those S90 either, but since I was at the store went and looked for it. :D I probably won't be even trying a rotation until April. I'm with you on the weather, bring on the melt! :eek:

Lala, LOL on doing the C part on another day. Sometimes I think that it is more difficult to do the C part after all that punching. ;) This time she used the straightener on my hair, and it sure is cute. Wish I would give myself enough time in the morning to do something like this. :rolleyes:

heartymax, That is an accomplishment, you are half way through the Meso cycle. I love those sliding lunges. At first you think, oh yes these are going to be easy. Then it hits you between the eyes, and you are wondering "how many more". :D Take a look at Target for some wrist weights. They have some nice one and two pounders.

Heartymax - I don't know how well these would work but I have 1 pound weight pouches from my ankle weights that I sometimes use. No magnet or velcro so you have to hold them but I bet I could rig something up if I had to.

Laurie - It must be the week for hair appts cuz I had hi-lites done on Tuesday. It is the first time I've EVER colored my hair so was a little nervous. They're supposed to be caramel highlights but they look more red to me. They look less red today so I'm liking it better now.

Lala - KP without the C is still quite an accomplishment. That's one tough workout but also FUN!

Susan - Hope you're feeling better.

Hi Karen!

I slept in this morning so will do cardio tonight. I thinking either Cardio Kicks or KPC.

We've been having email server problems all week and the main Admin is on vacation so I'm covering for her. People were getting upset because it was freezing for 5 minutes about every hour. I was finally able to resolve the issue last night (stayed late) and gained a little respect with my boss, too, I think. I hadn't really had a chance to prove what I can do and as lousy as this week has been, at least something good came out of it. :D

Did Insanity upper body today. Got called into work so I barely got it done and a shower before running out the door wet head and all.

Sue, have fun with your cardio workout. Either one sounds like fun.

Laurie, 4DS Kickboxing, haven't done that one in awhile. I probably don't need any more workouts. I heard they were not selling S90 anymore and the company was not shipping orders people placed that's why I thought maybe they won't sell them anymore. I think I will wait for Mary so you don't have to pick them up for me. If it doesn't work out, I have plenty of workouts.

Heartymax, don't those leg workouts in STS make you sore all the time? They sure did me.

Lala, the crunch part of KP is hard. Do you go slower outside because of the snow and ice when you are running? For the first race of the year it would be nice if they offered a 5K just to get the summer going.

Have a basketball tournament this weekend so I am sure I won't get a workout in tomorrow. Hopefully Sun. before church.
