Body Blast sound

I just got the Body Blast "step Blast" and in the excitment put it in and was sad that I could hardly hear Cathe because there was something like static or something like that which made it hard to hear, I can't hear the music either I just sent an e-mail but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem? I might spring for some money and get the DVD

I just did Step Blast for the first time and the sound quality, etc. was fine. Sorry about your video because the workout is literally a "blast!" Hopefully you can get everything straightened out soon.

I am going to do it tomorrow anyway and try to muddle through with the sound. It looked like a total blast!! way to go Cathe!!! and guess what? I am getting a neighbor into your workouts also LOL!! she likes they I look all from using your workouts!!

I have all six workouts on VHS and the only one I have a problem with is Step Blast and this is the first one I did. I alternates between bad audio to squiggly lines on the botom of the screen.
At first, I would just keep trying to reinsert it, thought maybe the tracking was off - but I have found if the bottom is disoriented the audio is fine, but when the bottom is clear the audio is terrible!

I have never had that problem before but I have been going with the bottom being squiggly just so I can get a good sound. I do not want to part with it - I thought maybe they could send a new one, then I could return mine or something like that.

It is an awesome workout - I love it, but the audio drives me really crazy and I cannot concentrate when it is like that.

The picture looked fine, with my VCR/DVD player combo you can't adjust the tracking so the picture is fine just the sound is awefull and I am so sad I was so looking forward to that one, the legs and glutes tape is ok no problems with that one just the step blast. I e-mailed them to see what I can do.

If I'm not mistaken wasn't that the problem Cathe said she originally had when the VHS were delivered to her? Didn't she say the sound was distorted so that you could hear the music and not her cueing? Maybe you received one of the defective tapes in error. It just sound slike the original problem that delayed the shipping in the first place. I'm sure SNM will send you a replacement.

Squiggly Lines

Cheryl, you are not alone. I just started previewing Kick Punch and Crunch and I saw all those squiggly lines. What is that?! I tried to adjust the tracking, but it remained like that. You had a problem with Step Blast so maybe I'll preview that one tomorrow. I kept checking the forums these past weeks and I read that Cathe was not going to mail the videos because she was not satisfied with them and then a week later they were ready. I wonder what happened. Maybe S&M had a problem with the manufacturer. (???) I just know my Cathe video collection starts with Power Max and I have every single video she has released since then and they still work perfectly! I will never (EVER!) abandon my Cathe workouts so I will preview the rest of my videos and if I have a problem I will contact S&M videos.

My Step Blast originally had the "squigly" problem and when that would happen the sound would "drag". I tried adjusting the tracking, but that did not work so I rewound and forward wound several times and when I did the workout it seemed fine and so far....it hasn't done it anymore. But on my Step, Jump and Pump I have a lot of static. I am hoping that will go away too! Did it for first time today and it is sooo much fun! I just love this series!

I believe your invoice that came with the videos says that they will replace defective videos up to 30 days if I'm not mistaken. Now that you bring up the fact that you apparently got a bad copy, I better check mine. I just got them yesterday but I didn't have time to preview any of them. I'll have to preview them tonight after I get home from work.

I previewed the first 10 mins (or so) of the rest of my videos and they seem fine. I read S&M replaces defective videos for up to 90 days so I will email them pronto.

I am so excited they just e-mailed me and said they are going to send me a new tape!! Yippee!! can't wait to get it because it looks so fun to do!! Love the moves!!
