I agree with some of what redsporty1 post, to add my personal opinions only, NOT FROM CATHE.
Sometimes our bodies will hit a wall due to so many changes and especially for women. However, learning what does or does not work for your body is the key, not what works for another person, and that takes experimenting over time. The one thing that stood out to me was the total calorie intake of 900-1,000 calories, that is low.
So many things plays a factor in how our bodies responds to working out and trying to get in shape the way we want to. Sleep, all food intake, macronutrients, micronutrients, type of workout routines (cardio, strength, etc..), stress levels and of course age.
Of course sometimes reaching our goals can be time consuming, however sometimes with trial and error you will discover what works for you. And over time what works now may have to change later due so many other reasons, it is never a quick fix, so patience is a must.
For me Over the years I have had to make changes to my workout plans and routines, due to age, injuries and how my body now responds. I continue to make changes and adjustments to my workout routines, food intake, macronutrients, sleep, stress, etc...to maintain or reach my set fitness goals. For me I have to be very committed to documenting my goals, etc... I change my workout routines every 90-days and adjust my nutrients and food intake based on my progress.
Evaluate what you feel works or will work for you over time and move forward. If you need to change over time, go with it, it can be discouraging, believe me I know, do not give up. I think of weight as it's easy to gain and harder to take off the right way.
It will be a experiment process, however, I know will get there!!
