So, we had the Orders Hearing on Thursday 10/11/12, it was supposed to be the official date of divorce because Judge Jerk had ordered my ex to respond by October 1st - which he didn't so it was supposed to go to Default. Well, Judge Jerk went ahead and let my ex participate by phone. It was a total and ruthless character assassination on my ex's part. He purgered himself with EVERY word that came out of his mouth. Judge Jerk 'warned' him almost 12 times to stop cussing, interrupting and not answering questions yet never held him in contemp!!! 
Clearly, the judge is biased towards the father. My attorney and I had come in fully prepared with Exhibits and two feet of backup docs, the ex had nothing. So, unfortunately, we have to go to Contested Final Orders on October 29th. Judge Jerk was also expressing his personal opinion as to why we had this debt, that debt, etc.....
Add to that the house closing on November 2nd- this is great news! However, the day after the court hearing, my ex decided to STOP putting money into the joint account, leaving my son and I destitute. My DS and I have to be out of the house by the end of this month. I've already begun talking with my church family and will go to this amazing organization called Tri-Lakes Cares tomorrow to get some help to make sure my DS and I don't end up homeless and without support. I already put a deposit on a small apartment and it's such a small town that it is the only place with availability.
So, please pray very, very, very hard for all of this to somehow come to a peaceful resolution.
Yes, I do work, but it's project based and not consistant and definitely not enough to support my DS and I independantly. I have been applying left, right and center to any and ALL Recruiting jobs as I continue to work the channels I have been.
Thankfully, I have helped out all of these organizations and took in a family who had been displaced from their home and did not charge them rent. So, Karma should work in my favor as well as the incredibly supportive community will ensure our safety and survival.
PRAY! PRAY! PRAY! Truly, my darkest hour. But God will provide, I know.
