Best Pilates Dvd

What is the best pilates dvd to get? I am not a pilates person, but I have a friend who is. She takes the really expensive Pilates classes but I would like to give her a very good Pilates DVD as a gift so that she can see that doing it at home is a viable option.

Not Sure about "the best", but I have a DVD I love by Karen Voight called Total Body Pilates, one of the workouts is called "Abs and Back" it is a 50 min workout and I love it. I can certainly recommend it. Try www.KARENVOIGHT.com.

Andrea Speir isn't too bad... I'm not a huge fan of pilates but I liked her personality as she's pretty low-key. Link is www.andreaspeir.com and her Amazon reviews are decent (why I bought here DVD in the first place). I hope this helps!

My favorite is 10 Minute Solution Quick Sculpt Pilates with Andrea Leigh Rogers. I also really like the 10 MS Pilates on the Ball with Lara Hudson.

Glad to read a few suggestions. I enjoy pilates classes usually, although I haven't come across a lot of great dvds if I'm honest. There aren't enough form reminders and visual cues for me I think. There's some good instruction on youtube & I liked ultimatepilatesworkouts when I was subscribed to it many years back. I thought the DVD Shape Up - The Pilates Way was okay as was Physical Mind Institute's workouts, although they might just be on VHS which isn't helpful.

I tend to do pilates/yoga fushion workouts like Piyo.

The Tracey Mallett dvd though rated beginner, many reviews of this one say they don't know why it's rated as beginner as it is challenging.
