I... I'm askeered of those push ups in the STS clip!! LOL!!

How do you DO that!!?

Your 1/2 push up is my full push up. :eek:

I just finished week 2 of a 6 week push up challenge and so far I can do 26 push ups -- not 26 consecutive push ups -- but 26 push ups broken up into 5 sets of varying numbers. :eek:
 
Hi Michele! I am working on my pushups too. What is the challenge you are doing? I would love to find out about that and try it too. Hope all is well with you!

:eek:I was cracking up last night watching...I thought the same thing..."Your 1/2 is my full!" We'll all be so proud 90 days after we start wont we? *fingers crossed!*:D
 
After watching that clip, I am racking my brain trying to decide what is the best route to take to prepare for STS. I'm in good shape, but good gosh that is A LOT of pushups!!! I was really into the 4DS, but, now I'm thinking I need more of an endurance workout. I just don't know what to do? I don't want STS to smoke me totoally. I want to be able to hang with Cathe and crew. What are you all doing to prepare??
 
Push Ups

Hi Everyone! Not to worry about being able to keep up. Your goal is to do as many push ups as you can with good form and work your way up to doing them all....who knows, perhaps you will eventually one day go way past 30 at that point. :eek:

Also, keep in mind the reason you are seeing SO many push ups is because we are in Meso #1, the muscle endurance mesocycle of STS. The other two mesocycles don't feature many at all. As a matter of fact Meso # 3 doesn't have any push ups at all. So enjoy them while they are offered ;)
 
There is just no way I will ever enjoy a pushup...with the possible exception of a slice of pizza being dangled under me while doing them!

I feel SOOOOOO much better now... I think -- LOL!!

Cathe, just so you know, I'M TOTALLY PSYCHED ABOUT STS!!! Push ups and all -- I'm not gonna let 'em lick me! :p :D
