Are icons in the workout manager?

No icons on my Mac, nor my android phone. I have cleared cache numerous times. I am guessing they are not ready yet. maybe next year?
I also have lost the icons for 2023 total barbell and killer legs now. So not moving in the right direction.

I’ve noticed in the past, with new workouts, that it may take some time before the icons show up. I guess it’s more work they have to do.
This year seems longer than most. Plus I have 2023 icons that showed up earlier this month not appearing for next month’s rotation. Workout Manager is older software and harder to maintain. So you’re right that we have to be patient, but when there’s an issue, we have to let them know.

I'm disappointed. It's old software,
It is really old software as far as software goes. I'm sure SNM keeps tabs on how much it is used, and are either planning a major upgrade OR are going to allow it to limp along until it fails. They'll have to consider the cost/benefit ratio of continuing to support it. I hope they do, or maybe upgrade to an app.

The update would cost a lot of money, so I expect they will just keep “bandaging” it along, as long as they can. To say the unsayable, Cathe is aging too, and might be winding her business down in the next years, not making major investments. I think she’s still the best in the business, of course, and anyone who has run a successful business like this one is beyond dedicated, but realistically . . . Clock is ticking for many reasons. We are seeing more hiccups along the way now.
I’d go back to my paper calendar notebook before using an app, I think. If they still make them

Gosh there's truths in your post. But we know that Cathe's Four Seasons Gym has made some recent big investments in pickleball courts, a new turf area & new equipment even though she and Chris are in their 60's now. But they could always sell if they personally start to wind down and possibly recoup those capital improvements. As far as the Cathe.com/SNM part of their business, that may be a different story which would be sad for us Cathletes if true.

Am I the only one who can't stand another app...?
I'm apped out!
There's probably an app for that! :p
Sorry, couldn't resist

I think the Workout Manager was originally conceived as an app. But that was a long time ago ... didn't the WM become available in 2009 or 10? I think they even had little videos to show the muscles being used with each lift for the original STS, then they changed it to Cathe demonstrating the move as they taped STS. Guess it's evolved over time.

The good news for users is that it is connected to Cathe's On-Demand apps, so that may mean it's not going anywhere.

Yes, you are right that she is spending money on her business, and we have seen diversifying in the last few years. Even the expansion of equipment on her website is much more extensive than it was. For us, she is the heart of her business, but maybe they are setting up a viable business that is less dependent on her presence. And that would be wise. A lot of her followers on this forum are over 50, we saw in a poll.

I too LOVE the Workout Manager, and feel confused why they can't add icons for the Lift, Move, Restore series in the same old school way they always have before.

Why would it require an update? I get not having the money to update a functionality if modern browsers don't support it, but not sure that is the issue here, because every single day, if I add older workouts to the Workout Manager, the icons show up.

Perhaps they just don't know how many of us still use and adore the Workout Manager as a motivational tool?

I hope they can dig up the documentation from the olden days and post icons for the Workout Manager for the new series.

And I always appreciate Cathe and the life-changing impact she has had on my health and happiness and life. I will never meet her, but I do adore her!

I love the Workout Manager and get so much motivation to keep up with my workouts, plan what I'm going to do and check my stats!! I really hope they come up with a solution!

This is something we are working on as best we can, but the Workout Manager is very old software and it is becoming more difficult to keep it running without a major update which simply wouldn't be worth the time and money it would take. Unfortunately, nowadays apps have replaced online applications like the Workout Manager. However, we are trying to at least get the icons for Lift, Move & Restore to show. We hope to have this done in a few days, but though this used to be simple to do, this is not true now and may require upgrades that will take time and may not be feasible to even do.
