This year seems longer than most. Plus I have 2023 icons that showed up earlier this month not appearing for next month’s rotation. Workout Manager is older software and harder to maintain. So you’re right that we have to be patient, but when there’s an issue, we have to let them know.I’ve noticed in the past, with new workouts, that it may take some time before the icons show up. I guess it’s more work they have to do.
I'm disappointed. It's old software,Bumping up this question, as it's nearly the end of January and the icons are not yet appearing in the calendar (for me, at least). Is there something I need to be doing, or are we still waiting for an update to the calendar?
It is really old software as far as software goes. I'm sure SNM keeps tabs on how much it is used, and are either planning a major upgrade OR are going to allow it to limp along until it fails. They'll have to consider the cost/benefit ratio of continuing to support it. I hope they do, or maybe upgrade to an app.I'm disappointed. It's old software,
The update would cost a lot of money, so I expect they will just keep “bandaging” it along, as long as they can. To say the unsayable, Cathe is aging too, and might be winding her business down in the next years, not making major investments. I think she’s still the best in the business, of course, and anyone who has run a successful business like this one is beyond dedicated, but realistically . . . Clock is ticking for many reasons. We are seeing more hiccups along the way now.It is really old software as far as software goes. Gosh there's truths in your post. But we know that Cathe's Four Seasons Gym has made some recent big investments in pickleball courts, a new turf area & new equipment even though she and Chris are in their 60's now. But they could always sell if they personally start to wind down and possibly recoup those capital improvements. As far as the Cathe.com/SNM part of their business, that may be a different story which would be sad for us Cathletes if true. The update would cost a lot of money, so I expect they will just keep “bandaging” it along, as long as they can. There's probably an app for that!Am I the only one who can't stand another app...?
I'm apped out!
Yes, you are right that she is spending money on her business, and we have seen diversifying in the last few years. Even the expansion of equipment on her website is much more extensive than it was. For us, she is the heart of her business, but maybe they are setting up a viable business that is less dependent on her presence. And that would be wise. A lot of her followers on this forum are over 50, we saw in a poll.Gosh there's truths in your post.
