Within limits, you are allowed to do what you want in your own rented apartment.
I would do as other posters have suggested: go introduce yourself and explain that you are a home exerciser. Then, decide what times of day you are going to want to do your workouts and let them know, so they can be prepared for it. You ARE allowed to make some noise, as long as you adhere to the no noise before about 9 am and none after 10 pm rules for apartment living. Then, if you limit your in-apartment workouts to weights, no jumping, I see absolutely no reason whatsoever why you cannot workout in your rented space. The neighbours will know that this is your time and they can accommodate to it. No-one can possibly demand that you cease all activities ad are as quiet as a mouse. That is not fair to you.
Then, use the apartment gym for your cardio workouts, and this should be a good compromise.
The definition of the word compromise does not mean that you cede to your neighbours' every command or wish. That is capitulation and subordination, and really, who are these people to demand this of you?
Stand your ground, and politely reach a compromise. Let them know this is for 1 month only: they can withstand!
