Anyone have or ordering Hammer & Chisel?

Gobias

Cathlete
Hi All,

I don't know why, but I find ordering anything from BeachBody extremely confusing and frustrating! I finally figured out what I want to order:

1) The Master's Hammer & Chisel DVD Package ($89.85)
2) The Master's Hammer & Chisel Deluxe DVDs Only ($44.85) (I can only find that on Mary's site, not on BB site)

I do not care for all of the "extra" stuff, medicine ball, Tupperware, etc. I really just want the workouts.

Does anyone know where I can find the workout sheets for each video and also the workout calendar plans? I would like to review them first to see if #2 above is included in the workout calendar plan (and how often to see if it is worth buying). I would also like to see if the bonus video, Master's Cardio, is in the workout calendar plan.

Has this series been out awhile? I see many before/after photos of people who have done this workout, but I thought it was new. Does anyone know if this line of workouts ever goes on sale? I don't want to purchase it now, only to have it go on sale for Christmas! I am really not all that familiar with this line.

Thank You.

I agree, ordering from Beachbody, can be confusing. They offer the deluxe package, the super package, regular package that comes with two extra DVDs if you order from a certain coach. I don't need all the extra "stuff" either. How do I order just the DVDs.
I think "Hammer & Chisel" is being released this month. I think the people you are seeing, before/after, is the group that does the program before it is released. Then they post the before/after pictures of the best results. Basically marketing.

Love to hear reviews if anyone is getting it. I like Autumn. Haven't done any of Sagi. They don't give much info, like how long the workouts are or what level they are. Frustrating. We're spoiled by Cathe!

Are you referring to TotalFitness Dvd's? I would be interested in the 44.85 price. Thank you

Somebody on here posted a few days ago the times for each workout, but the thread was deleted. I went ahead and ordered the 89.85 pkg and the extra 44.85 DVD. I always end up wishing I had bought the extra DVD so I just went ahead and did it. I find beachbody really frustrating. They give a basic pkg-but then there is always an extra dvd-that you will end up wanting-and they make ONE dvd $45. It's a bit ridiculous. We are WAY spoiled with cathe. Can't wait for her new ones to arrive!

I was hoping that it would be more of a muscle building workout. The run down sort of reminds me of P90X3 but longer. I would have to hear more on how it is.

I ordered the Master's H&C DVDs ($89. Something set which includes a set of the containers ) and was considering those extra DVDs but the two are only 15 minutes... I don't think so. But what I did pick up was 21 Day Fix Xtreme without the containers. That's because I heard it was some simple Tabata style stuff with her pre competition diet. Just something to use if I needed a quick emergency weight loss for a party or something.
I'm thinking of doing the basic Fix then Fix X then the chisel portion of Masters while using ICE cardio workouts in between to start the Winter.

I really wanted to get this set, but the price is holing me back:p I just ordered a lot of dvd's from Mary's Black Friday Sale. I have enough workout dvd's to last me the rest of my life :D I really need to use and get through to all the dvd's I already have. They all promise, I get Chiseled & Ripped :D

Who is interested in a No buying check in for 2016 ?:D:p Just use what we already have? My workout dvd spending this year was out of control:oops:

Is this available on demand, or streaming? I find I'm at the crossroads with technology, reluctant to buy hard copies anymore when the content is so readily available online. Holding off on ICE until my holiday Smart TV arrives, oh gosh I hope DH reads this!

I made a list of things I have yet to complete since last Black Friday, I'm Good!

Thanks for the feedback. I bit the bullet (or drank the Kool-Aid?!?) and bought the basic set plus the add-ons. I ended up really liking Sagi and the BB rotation (finishing it up next week). I am not familiar with Autumn.

I found the calendar plans (I belive there are four of them) at http://www.yourfitnesspath.com/hammer-chisel-workout-calendar

However, does anyone know where to find the workout sheets for the individual workouts?

LOL! I keep telling myself the same thing! Just stop buying more programs! Stick with a program for the full rotation. As I watch the preview moves on new stuff I try to point out the similarities with what I have so I am less tempted to buy!

Thanks for the link, Diane. I didn't realize Sagi was married (never thought about it either way). But I think it is funny he calls one of the guys in his video "Barbie" all the time. lol.

I went ahead and ordered the deluxe extra DVDs also. I am writing out my rotation, but can't find the times or workout sheets for these extra DVDs (or the Master's Cardio extra DVD). I hope to get the videos arrive next week!

Jodi - I actually heard about Sagi through Sean's book! Years ago I used to watch the Bachelor show (I think my last season watching was Ben's.) My co-workers got me into it, I started watching so I could participate in the water-cooler talk. However, I stopped working there maybe 5-6 years ago and stopped watching.

I was at the library when Sean's book came out and it was on the "NEW" shelf - usually my favorite shelf. I never heard of Sean (by then I had stopped watching the Bachelor show), but grabbed the book anyway. In the book he mentions Sagi several times. Being a lover of fitness, I decided to check him out. Then I realized Sagi was the guy from the late night infomercials yelling funny sayings. I came on Cathe.com to see if there were any threads on Sagi, and there were.

So....it was The Bachelor who got me into Body Beast! Glad to hear a relationship worked out on that show - other than the first female, I didn't realize anyone got married. Good for them!

P.S. - since I am a talker, I am going to share this. While working at that job where we discussed the Bachelor show, we used to parody the over-romanticized, cheesy, eye-rolling activities and deep conversations the contestants had. On my last day of work, I got my Bachelor Show friends each a romantic card (of course with red roses on the front) and wrote sappy love letters to each of them. I didn't leave my last day until much later than everyone else and put a card on all of their desks. I then sprinkled red rose petals on their desks and...I kid you not...had an 8x10 photo of me in a frame and put it in the break room. I then left. Come Monday morning, I got so many calls of them all laughing. I guess other workers, who didn't understand the show, were also laughing because they know I am just naturally a nut anyway. Ah, good times. Last I heard, my photo was up on the wall - but that was years ago.

So far I have not found worksheets to look at or times. Just the generalized 30-40 minutes. I have seen rotation calendar sheets on searches. I wonder when Beach Body is going to put their worksheets up and Hammer and Chisel on their boards. I remember when I got the first P90X I did not want to write on my worksheets so I scanned and copied them. So, I guess Sagi has a book coming out. It might prove interesting.

Gobias, that is a funny story and a neat way to leave work. I used to watch the bachelor. It has been a very long tome :)
