This is so neat! I had almost done a post like this before just to see who was around. We live in Greatwood, and I am in Richmond/Rosenberg every day. My daughter goes to Calvary Episcopal School there, I work on Ave N, I think it is (by the DPS and Terry HS), and take care of a cat right there too! I used to live in Rosenberg, and before that, Pecan Grove.

How funny is that! My in laws live in Stone Gate too!!!! Oh my gosh! Right outside the neighborhood there is a CVS! In fact...I'm going there on Saturday! My daughter got a kick out of them putting bubbles in the water fountain enterances not too long after Christmas. EEK! Wow...super small world!!!

Wow..this is a small world! I love within bike riding distance from Calvary. I take my kids to play on the park at Calvary! 3 of my children play soccer at the YMCA, across the street. I also taught kickboxing at the YMCA for 7 years! I have tons of friends in Greatwood! But, I personally grew up in Tara! Wow!!!!

I was born in Houston and raised in other parts of Texas. I'm not there anymore (currently in a suburb north of NYC) but I used to live in Pearland as well. We still have a house down there that we rent out. I also have lots of family still in the area--hope to visit in July. My family is spread all around the area from Missouri City to Clear Lake to Humble.

Nope - no state income tax here in Texas. BTW, I'm in Los Fresnos which is 15 minutes from Brownsville and 20 min from South Padre Island. Five hours from Houston, hahaha! Went to San Antonio last weekend and LOVED IT! The Riverwalk is beautiful!

Hi Tammi, my mom lives down in Bishop, TX (near Corpus Christi). I lived in Kingsville for my senior year of high school and felt like I was at the bottom of TX, but you are even further down there!

Corpus is really pretty and I'd like to actually spend some time there the next time we head out to San Antonio. My cousin does a lot of fishing there. Yes, I work in Brownsville and the predominant language here IS spanish and I speak about 2 words of it! We're right on the border so I can actually go to Mexico on my lunch break and come right back... I just moved here from Connecticut last year so you can imagine the culture shock!
