Anybody go back to older vids a lot?

Now that I've gotten the Intensity Series and so looking forward to the Body Blast series I find myself pushing the older videos to the back of my stash. Do a lot of you get those out, too, and use them on a regular basis??? I love them all, don't get me wrong, but the new ones are so fresh and fun that sometimes it's hard to dig those older ones off the shelf.

Just curious.

Cheers, Marcia :)

Marcia, I am just like you. I tend to always use the newer videos. If I had 6X a week to use ALL Cathe, then, I might go back and dig out the old but with teaching 4X/week, I can only fit my Cathe's in a few times, so I ENJOY the new ones! That being said, there is NOT a vid I don't like. LOVE them all!

HI Marcia,
I have all of Cathe's DVDs, and I definitely do the newer ones most often. This week I did Stepworks and the PS series, and it made me realize how long its been since I've done these. Stepworks, especially. It was fun doing both of them, but as I was doing Stepworks I just knew the choreography SO well--I must have done it a thousand times when I first got it! Now it seems like there are so many options, I never learn a new video as well as I learned those first ones! Even with PS, I can talk along with Cathe practically the whole time, knowing exactly what she's going to say. Its probably the same with everything up to the Intensity Series. That series has so many mix and match and premix and combo options that I never feel like I've overused anything!

:D I have absolutely every video Cathe ever made! I make up routines using each and evey one, though I must say the very old videos do not get used as much ex. fit & firm, cardio step challenge, home step workout etc. but I still use them to this date!:p

Hi Marcia! I just did StepNMotion 1 this morning, along with CTX Kickbox! Yesterday, I did Step Max, and the other day I did Mega Body Blast with CTX Leaner Legs. I love combining the older step videos with the CTX series! Those older videos are easier for me to follow because I'm such a kluzt with step work, and because they aren't as intense as Rhythmic Step or MIC, I can use them as a nice warm-up!

I'm having an oldies week with the cardio hits DVD-they are so great! (PowerMax, Step Works and Step Fit).I like the pace better-just a little slower, and the choreo flows so my heart rate stays steady instead of zaggin around like with the "blast" type workouts she's doing now. I realize there is a place for intervals, but most of the time I just want a long steady state cardio and the old ones are GREAT for that!

This is exactly why I enjoy the Cathe rotations so much. She incorporates a lot of her older videos. The other day I did Stepfit and I can't believe what a good workout I got doing it. Now I don't feel like I'm neglecting those oldies.

Since the Intensity Series it is hard for me to pull out some of the older ones.

I did do Cardio Kicks on Thursday. CTX series gets thrown in quite a bit when I am short on time. Those are not real old though.

All her workouts are great!!
I think I might pull out Step Works or maybe MIC and MIS and try to incorporate them in this coming week.

I can't wait for the Body Blast series....

I still do MIC a lot. It took me so darn long to finally be able to do it that I'm not about to give it up now. LOL! I wish she'd come out with an updated version.

I just went back to The Pure Strength series, which was my 1st Cathe tape. I haven't done it in a long time, and it kicked my butt all over again. Of course it is so much better on DVD, because I can split it up by body part, and do them in any order I want to.

If I'm in the mood for a fun cardio workout, I'll do old Cathe workouts (Step Jam and Power Max are my favorites). I haven't done the new ones enough to always know what's coming, but with my old ones, I never get tripped up! :p

Hi Marcia, I love those workouts in the Cardio Hits DVD! Power Max is the best! After IMAX 2, that is. Also addicted to the PS Series.:9
