P.S. Angie's list is a clearinghouse of reviews and such of businesses and merchants, etc. in your area. It costs $8.95 per month to join or $67 dollars per year. You can get reviews of any local business you might use - like car mechanics, handymen, local contractors, etc.

Sorry, I can't help with Angie's list, never used it. But just wanted to say that I use yelp.com and it's free.

I wouldn't pay for that...have you tried craigslist.com? Or grocerygame.com for food?

My sons' school just had an awesome fundraiser, and it consisted of giving reviews of local businesses! It was very cool, because you could read by word of mouth , how good a business was! I'm not sure where you're from, but it did say you could put in any business from around the country.
