I must say, American got it wrong!
Why in the world would they vote to keep J...? (the Indian boy)? He just doesn't have what it takes. He is a nice kid, but voting for someone because you feel sorry for them is why there are sometimes duds like "Chicken Little" in the top 12.

Yes! The 17 year old kid should have been gone! And I sure hope Antonella is out in the next round. She butchered that Celine Dion song. She has yet to sing one song in tune during this competition since the voter call-ins started.

Antonella cannot sing all that great and has an attitude. Those two "older" (as if being in your late 20's is old) African American girls are AMAZING!!!! They also seem to have some humility. I am not usually a voter but I will be this season.

The guys didn't blow me away last nite. I like the blond punky-hair guy... and the chubby one with ringlets has an awesome voice. Simon had some funny comments, as usual, and Paula, you always get the feeling that she's ready to plunk her head down on the table and take a nap.

I think it was worth watching just to see Sanjay (sp?), the very young guy, new hairdo---- straightened!!!!
 
I was not impressed at all. I think this is the worst year so far for the guys. I like that beat box kid, but he is not a good singer!?!?:) Just entertaining to watch.
I can't wait to see the women tonight! They are much better imho!
 
I about fell off the couch and Sanjaya said he can hula!!! LOL!!!! If I were him, I would not admit that on national tv!!!! Dh can't stand him!!!

I liked Blake last night. Oh, and the one who looks and sings like Justin T.

I thought the judges were way off base with the last guy (Chris?). I thought he had the best voice out of all of them last night. Well, I think Randy had said that he did too, but this guy to me, was the best. I'm just still so dissapointed with the guys.

I liked Blake (the 1st guy) and Chris (curly hair). Maybe Blake is not the best singer but he is entertaining. I enjoy listening to him. and I like Chris because he is one of the better singers.

However, I'm thinking a girl is going to win Idol this year. They are so much better than the guys.
 
I thought the guys had a lousy night. The only ones I really liked were the two Chris'. I think Sanjaya and Jared should go tomorrow for the guys. I think the girls will be much better tonight. I hope Antonella goes tomorrow. I don't know how she got through this far.
 
I thought Blake and Curly Chris were the best. My DH made some funny comments about "Hula boy" too! ROFL! What do you want to bet that "Hula Sanjaya boy" makes it through? I think he gets tons of the little Jr. High girls votes...you know, he's just so darn pretty.:+ He'll get through on looks alone, cuz he ain't a singer. Like Simon says "It's a singing contest!"

I agree!
After a week that was a bit better, the male contestants are back to being boring. Noone stood out to me. And there haven't been any real stand-out performances since the female contestants' first week (or did they just stand out because the males had been so horrible the day before?).

I agree with the judges that only 4 (at most!) of the guys should continue on.

i agree.... i don't care for chris' personality (from past weeks)... however this week he seemed very nice and subdued and accepting of the judges comments

"Well, in the VFTW battle, all of the guys basically sucked, so we'll stick with Sundance. His screaming version of Jeremy was just horrendous and you could tell he thought he was great. Sanjaya was boring and Phil Stacy was the most off-key ever, but Sundance is the full FaFuTwo package. Is he the next coming of Scott Savol?

Either way, our real pick is still Antonella, so let's get Sundance to the top 12 and then Antonella too!"

Wow! I didn't know they had a site for voting for the worst. It's kind of funny in a way, yet sick in another. LOL!
 
I didn't realize that either. I actually thought Sundance was ok last night. VFTW is kind of funny. If that's the case Sanjay and Antonella will be staying! To me Sanjay is just icky. I don't know what it is that makes him creep me out. LOL.

Even my 9 year old thought Sanjay was too "girly" last night. Really weird in a Michael Jackson sort of way, I think...

Anyways, I think all the guys are really snoozers. I find myself grasping at anything they may do just to try to like them. I don't even see any of them making it to the final 4, imo. This is a boring idol, imo.
