Am I the only one?

When I do Step, Jump, and Pump (one of my favorites of the Body Blast series), my arms are so tired after triceps extensions and flies (25 lb. barbell and 15 lb. wts., respectively), that I can't really use them to cradle my head during abs. I just start doing the crunches with my arms down by my sides to let them recover. Anyone else's arms too sore after those last weight moves?

I have never done the weight work from SJ&P (I do the cardio ALL the time) however, I a, I am sooooo glad when it comes to pec dec crunch move because then I can finally rest my arms a bit. They get very tired supporting my head too. Perhaps our brains are heavy from all the knowledge they're holding. Yeah, let's go with that.

Your not the only one. Anytime I do weight work then it is time for abs my arms are frying. I keep forgetting that I am going to do abs first then the weight this way my arms aren't to sore. Just like today I did the upper premix of ME and there is was way that I could of done the abs.

You are not the only one! On that workout, in particular, that happens to me. Actually, I don't remember it happening to me in any other workouts. This one literally exhausts my arms for some reason and when I try to start doing the crunches, I do have to cross my arms across my chest or hold them down. I truly cannot cradle my head. It is really funny how tired they get. I LOVE this workout!

It also happens to me on PUB. I just cross my arms over my chest to rest a little before it gets into planks.

Me too! I noticed it the last two times I did that workout. For some reason the thumbless grip on the barbell hurts too, so I wrap them around the barbell half way through. Still, I have to keep my arms down during the abs.

I have a very hard time doing the triceps work after the chest work. I always end up using only 5 pound dumbbells for the tricep extensions and normally I use a lot heavier.

I have noticed that arm exhaustion too in SJP abs following arm work. This is the only video it happens to me in. Ah, but this is a great workout! I really enjoy the changing of pace every few minutes!
