“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” (1 John 1:7)
Hi Cathy! I hate to sound like an infomercial for Beachbody (ha!

), but with the problem areas you mention I believe that Slim in 6 would be great for you!! I bet it will be unlike any other workout you've ever done (like it was for me) and will really shock your body and get you where you want to be. Feel free to shoosh me on the topic if I'm talking about it too much, I won't be offended, ha ha. I just really know from experience how this program slims you all over and especially in the waist/hips/legs. My arms got super toned too. Check out the link in my prior post and feel free to ask me any Q's if you're interested. It's a 6 week program that I incorporated with walking. I was burned out a little by the end because there are only 3 DVD workouts in the program that you're supposed to do 6x per week. You do the first DVD one week, the second DVD for the next 2 weeks, and the final DVD for the last 3 weeks, so I got a little antsy doing the same workout 5-6x per week for so many weeks. Some weeks I cheated and only did it 4x certain weeks but still got awesome results!! The results are what kept me going though! You also get two bonus workouts, Slim and 6-Pack (10 minute ab workout) and Slim & Limber (13 minute awesome full body stretch). Okay, okay, I'm done now, ha!
Jen, I will keep this potential job in prayer for you!
Iris, the house-work is going well. It's coming and going in spurts though, LOL.

Yesterday we didn't do anything with the dining room because my hubby needed to work on my FIL's car. How was your day at work today?
I started checking in with the new "novice runners" check-in today. I'm hoping to get some more tips on running!
Today's workout was my Couch to 5K run plus "Tone it Up" from the Slim Series. This workout was a killer! It's a 60 minute total body, non-stop, compound weighted workout. I must have done 100 lunges, squats and plie squats on their own, and then I did more lunges combined with endless bicep curls, tricep kick backs, squats with front raises, side arm raises, overhead presses, etc. etc. There was really good floor work at the end too. There is an outer thigh lift sequence that goes on and on, I felt like my legs were going to catch fire! I couldn't finish all the sets/reps, but I made it through! Debbie says she is only using 3lb weights and at first I though that might be too light for me. I quickly realized after the millionth rep that I was crazy and eventually switched to my 2lb weights, LOL. It finished with some ab work and then I stretched with Slim & Limber. It felt really good to be back to this type of training!!
Have a blessed day everyone!
