There have been recent threads about the Terminator DVD. This and the Timesaver are the only DVD's I do not own. My question is, is there really a difference in the workout premixes (meaning, some IMAX2, some BC, some C&W etc) than the workouts themselves?

These have segments of the IS but with a new way. I like the idea of mix a segment of bootcmap cardio, with BC upper and lower body, cardio and weight compound weight and imax 2.I like to do different exercises of each workouts of IS.I do not use often the premix of BC but I like mix segments of it with another workouts. If you have to choose between timesaver or terminator choose terminator. Somebody thinks that the 3T are too much tought but I love all of them. Maybe somebody do not like them.Everybody has an opinion and the perfect cathe workout in mind but yesterday when I did imax xtreme my muscles and my whole body was burning and my clothes finished washed in sweat and ¿you no something?I love it. :) :)

Stayfit,

I completely agree with you on the Terminator...just love, love, love it! So far, the Gauntlet's my favorite, but I pretty much love all 3...really does take the workouts from IS and just mix 'em up in a whole new way...like you, I'm always drenched in sweat when I'm done!! :)))

I bought it, it just came a couple days ago. I did Viper last night and the workout was awesome. I love it. I have a major complaint though.... I was constantly switching up my space. Low step, high step, move the step to use the weights, add weight, lower weight, move the step back ....

My workout space is small so I can only have so much out and readily available at once. I don't think there is a good solution for me, maybe just being more ready.. knowing what to expect and having everything ready. It doesn't help with moving the step in and out though. I never preview workouts, although I know I should. Mytime is so limited I would rather use the time to workout than to sit and watch. :-(

My terminator DVD came in and I previewd Gauntlet last night and will do it this evening. How does everyone like IMAX extreme?

I love Imax Extreme. I just did it a couple days ago for the first time. I sweat a ton during it and my legs really felt it when it was done.

I got this DVD on Monday and did Imax Xtreme yesterday morning. It was a great cardiovascular challenge with just a touch of weights. It left me drenched and more than ready to take on whatever the day brought me. I am going to take a run at the Gauntlet this morning.

I have all of Cathe's videos and am just starting to purchase DVDs. If I had the IS on DVD I don't think I would have purchased Terminator in light of all of the premix and blender options (Just my humble opinion).:)

I just finished the Gauntlet and liked it more than Imax Xtreme. Great variety (although some exercise segments are repeated twice - upright rows with squat and deadlift/deadrows from C&W) and a good challenge. The time (and sweat) just flew!!:)

Ewww, I am so jealous, Laurie. I ordered The Terminator before you and here I sit, waiting for it to arrive, while you are working The Gauntlet;( Keep posting your reviews of the workouts, please. I'll live vicariously through you until my Terminator arrives.

Oh yeah, the mailman just came and delivered my Terminator! I'm running The Gauntlet tomorrow morning. Woo Hoo! I'm a happy girl:)

Hey Happy Girl!!! Let us know what you think, I really liked 'running the Gauntlet' and want to vault into the Viper but it will have to wait a couple of days.
It is sooooo fun getting new Cathe stuff. The guy who delivers packages in my neighbourhood is usually such a big grump but he actually had a laugh with me 'cause I was so excited about getting my package'.:) :p

Have fun Sarah!!

Well I did Gauntlet last night!!! What an awesome workout. I did have to modify some and take a few breaks between some of the cycles. What a challenge. What was everyone else's first experience with Gauntlet like?

When I did the Gauntlet the first time....I had thought I wouldn't have to do the terminator squat thrusts from Bootcamp.....well...not so lucky....:)...they about killed me, but the Gauntlet is my favorite one right now.....:)...Carole

Well, I just caved! Since you all said how tough and long these workouts are, how could I resist? Plus, SNM is offering free shipping until tomorrow. So.... now I can't wait! Yeah!!

I just did Gauntlet this morning. It is SOOO tough, but I love how it makes me feel. This was only the second time I did the workout, but it actually felt a LITTLE easier (???!!!) than the first time. I think the worst part is going from the BC cardio portions straight to Imax2:s. I'm so winded after those squat-thrust climbers (?) that the next Imax2 section feels really tough, even though it's supposedly an "easy" one. Another really tough one is the kickbox power-kicks cardio and the following Imax (forget which one). Oh boy, oh boy...!!! It's such a great overall workout though, I really feel worked out after. Plus it burns lots of calories...;)))!

Enjoy,

Maria

I too receievd Terminator recently and have done Gauntlet. It IS tough. I am soooo happy I bought this DVD. I previewed Viper last night and will get to do it later during the week. I have to travel for buisness over the next few days and won't be able to do it until Wednesday. Phooey.
