A VERY good idea.....I think

I'd really like to see this in a spiral bound, weekly planner format. If pictures could only go in once per month, that would be fine--maybe smaller pictures could go on some of the weekly pages.

The pages should be thick enough so that Sharpie marker ink doesn't go through. (The only kind of these I've found so far are usually art-themed, and I'm not interested in them.)

As for putting rotations in, here's my (perfect) suggestion: Have several (12 month-long) rotations printed out in sticker formation. We can then choose which rotation we want to do, and start it when we want. For instance, say Cathe has a rotation as follows:
day 1 Step Works
day 2 Cardio and Weights
day 3 Step Fit
day 4 High Step Challenge
day 5 Step Blast
day 6 rest
day 7 Boot Camp
You provide that rotation printed out on a sticker sheet, and we just peel off each day and stick it onto the day we're going to do it. That way we can start a rotation in the middle of a week...Or if we want to switch High Step Challenge for Boot Camp, we just switch those stickers..
OR:
Maybe if you just included a printed version of many Cathe rotations, and then included multiple sticker sheets with the titles of all of Cathe's workouts that are included in those rotations...

I normally pay $15 for my spiral weekly planner each year to use as my workout log. I'd pay that for a Cathe one.

Thanks,
Wendy
PS Please do it my way! :)

I LOVE this idea! I'd like a wall-style calendar, so I can show Cathe off at work :D

Some ideas I like:

-Fitness tips from Cathe
-Cathe's healthy recipes (e.g. in a hot month, post a recipe for something cool but somewhat clean!)
-Cathe's famous quotes such as "I know you're tired, but jump higher!"
-A spot at the top of each month to write in your weight and measurements at the beginning and end of each month
-A spot at the top of each month to write in your personal fitness goals
-Make each day block large enough to write in your workout for the day

This is what I would love to see in a Cathe calendar:
-motivational quotes or reminders by Cathe
-space each day to notate workout done, what we ate, how we felt
-at top of calendar list the words GOALS FOR THE MONTH:________
-at bottom of calendar, put RESULTS ACHIEVED:_____________

Some of the pictures I'd love to see would be the ones from KickMax because Cathe looks so focused and determined and seeing her up in the air would make me smile.

I would of course buy 2 calendars - one for home where I would put all my personal info and another for my cubicle at work so I could see it every day and put my tentative schedule.

Please make the Cathe calendar a reality!

I like Yadi's suggestion for the front page of each month, and a suggested rotation on the back side of the month's page.

Please forgive the 9,230 grammatical felonies committed in that last sentence.

Also, to select the rotations maybe the Rotations forum could vote on which are their favorites, and use those for the 12 months.

A wall calander to hang up at home and a pocket calander to keep in your purse your gymbag or whereever. This way it will be like a mini journal, with Cathe quotes and quotes from her crew.

Since some people want a rotation written in, and some don't, why don't you put a rotation in the calendar, but have a "line" where people can pencil in an alternate workout if they don't want to do the one that was suggested?

I like the idea of a wall calendar, because I already have a palm pilot, so I wouldn't need a pocket-sized calendar - it would be nice to have the option of both . . .

I would love a wall calendar with enough space in each square to write down what workout I did that day (or which one I plan to do), and/or a journal or companion journal with enough space for each day to write down how much weight I used for each exercise, etc.

I think a calender is a great idea but I would love to see a workout log book instead. I have made my own workout log book. My workout log book has a page for each day of the week, starting with Monday. It is enough to cover an entire year. In my log I have all of Cathe's dvd in a box format so that I can check of which dvd I completed for that day. Here is a sample of one day in my log.

(to the left of the page I have the following)

WEEK (left blank) Date: (left blank)

MONDAY

Workout Detail: (left blank with enough
to write whatever)

In the zone(left blank to record from
my hrm)
Cal. burned(to record calorie burned)
Average hr( to record hr)

Total workout Hours(to record min/hours of workout)

GOAlS

(left blank with lines to write whatever my goals are)

(to the right of my daily log is list of all Cathe dvds
here is an example, the dots represents a little box that I use to check off what I did)

. Basic Step
. Body fusion
. High step circuit
. Step Blast

I decided to make my own log, because the workout log at the bookstores did not fit the needs of a home exerciser, like myself, who uses videos/dvd. I would love to see something of this nature, but whatever you decide will be great.

This is a great idea! I'm a calendar freak. I would definitely buy this, not only for myself, but for my family too! I think I would also like a pocket type calendar to where I can bring it with me where ever I go. How about a wall calendar and a pocket planner?

Oh ... spiral binding. I am seriously excited about that idea. (But I love just about anything in spiral binding. )

I like the sticker idea, too -- in pretty colors of course. :7

Yes Count Me In!!!! We would know for the next 12 months what our monthly rotation would be. I think we also have some wonderful gals that have been around and have made wonderful changes to their physiques maybe they could incorporate (along with Cathe's pics of course) in a small corner for incentives photos of real people that have had results with Cathe, dedication. Or a personal story. You guys had road trips, her facility. I think it is a fabulous idea and a lot of other great ideas as well. Good Luck

I like to do my own rotations suited to my needs and with the workouts that I have. I wouldn't mind if there are suggested rotations on the calendar as long as they do not become the main feature or take a big and important space.

I love this idea. I use a regular weekly calendar and stickers now to record my workout but would love one with Cathe pictures and motivational quotes. I also like the idea of the stickers with the workouts so everyone can personalize what workout they did. Would definetly buy this calendar.

A Cathe addict
