Hi Cathletes - Just curious if there are any ladies that wear wigs? I have very short curley hair that's greying. I live in a warm climate so it seemed like the best option to keep my hair that way.

Looking to update my look for an upcoming event I purchased a wig and was impressed at the quality and the difference it made in my appearance. I felt younger. I've attached a before and after.

I'm happy with my natural curley hair but now I feel I have another choice depending on my mood and or the event. :eek: Thanks for letting me share~!!

Yes very comfortable. Fits well. I haven't worn it out yet so I can't say if its too hot but I think it will be ok because its very light weight. My husband loves it on me!
 
Wow! You look great! I love the wig. Honestly, if I saw you in person I wouldn't have a clue that you had a wig on. Very nice! :D
 
I like it! I remember my mother and her sister had several different wigs that they wore for different occasions. They had so much fun changing their looks! They acted so different when they had them on: now I realize that it gave them confidence! I say go for it Carmen!;)
 
I love it! What a cute, cute style! They have come along way in the wig department, making them look so real! I had a friend going thru chemo that got a couple diff styles and they both looked amazing on her! She even said she loved them better then her own hair! Have fun at your event!
 
Carmen, you look fantastic, both before and after! I don't know why more people don't wear wigs. If for no other reason, it's a fashion statement. I would love to buy one but I have to wait until my finances improve. I'm also interested a pull through wig because my hair is thinning and I thought it would be a good place to start. Can you tell me the brand of your wig, where you bought it and how much it was? There are some that are quite expensive but I know there are good ones too for reasonable prices. Yours looks great!

I think you are beautiful also without the wig, but I must say that the wig does look soooooooooo good on you and enhances your appearance. I buy hairpieces and now that I see such a great wig on you, I too may be getting one.

Wow ladies thank you very much for the vote of confidence! I really like the new look and so does my hubby. My sons think it's silly and prefer me natural. I've worn it on date night so far. My hubby is encouraging me to wear it more often but I haven't had the nerve. I feel the change it so great that folks will know right away. But you have been honest and I feel better about venturing out and feeling great about how I look. Thanks again and have a great day!
