A great ornament idea for your kids

Hi All! If your looking for a fun project to do with your kids, tap into your creativity and try decorating/painting old fashioned wooded clothes pins. My kids made Santa, a snowman, an angle, an elf, a wreath, a heart....its amazing what a glue stick, colored pipe wire, paint, glitter and cotton balls can do. The best part of all is they clip to the Christmas tree branches beautifully and never fall off. Clip them near the lights on the tree and the glitter shimmers so nicely. But why stop at the tree...stick a magnet on the back and use them to display your kids homework, art work or holiday recipe anywhere that a magnet will hold. So fun, so easy...so many fun giggles in the making.

Hi Cathe, I remember those fun projects my kids made for x-mas many, many years ago:eek: still have them too! Enjoy!

Hand print ornament/decor

I love making crafts with my little girl :).

Here's a very simple idea (see attached photo). The recipe is: 1/2c flour, 1/2c salt, 1/4c of water (you may need to add a bit more water).
-Once the "dough" is done, put your little one's hand in it. Cut around the outline of the hand print. Don't forget to puncture a hole at the top too! Allow to dry.
-Once it's dried, then paint away!
-Great for hanging on the tree, fireplace, door, or anywhere you like :)

Have fun!

Natasha
