Good morning, Y'All!
I just finished Disc 12 because we are heading out of town tomorrow for the weekend (Louisville, KY to see friends), and there is no way I am going to drag myself up at 5 am to do it. So I moved it up a day. I figured that since its Legs, it's probably okay to do the day after Chest and Triceps. It felt pretty good. Deb, I think STS would make a wonderful Christmas present, especially to oneself. It could be a gift that truly does keep giving--it can help you get stronger and healthier, and how cool is that? It is only my first time through the program, but I do love it. I feel much stronger and sleep better most of the time.
Lori, I am pursuing a masters degree in Theology and Christian Ministry. I am a distance learning student & my school is Franciscan University of Steubenville. Right now, I am working on a course entitled "Biblical Foundations of the Church." I am not sure exactly what I am going to do with it, but it seems to be something I need to do right now. Don't worry, I'm not into preaching, but I will pray for you if you need it.
Joan, I have a problem with some of those other instructors, too, especially the excessively "chirpy" types. I can't take working out with them, especially in the morning. Cathe is pleasant, clever and motivating. There are some other instructors I like, too, like Keli Roberts, Chalene Johnson, Kelsey Daniels, and a bunch of others. Sorry to hear about all the therapy your mother needs. You're all in my prayers.
Deb, so sorry about your DH. I lost my first husband when he was 26. It's tough, but I can't tell you that I know what you're going through because we are all different and our relationships are pretty individual. We were very close as well, though, and I think that has been the most difficult thing I ever had to face.
Hi, Jann, Beth, Tricia, Cathy, Cookie and Deb.
Have a great day everyone--and a great weekend, as well.
