5 Foods You've Been Eating Wrong

A little Monday morning fun for all of you:

5 Foods You've Been Eating All Wrong | Shine Food - Shine from Yahoo! Canada
(don't worry, the vids are super short)

-I was pretty excited about the ketchup cups. I'm from Canada, and it's no surprise that we have a love affair with ketchup .

-The cupcake thing was kinda weird but cool...I guess. I don't think I'd ever make a "cupcake sandwich", but to each his own .

-I knew about the strawberries and the straw already.

-The Tic Tac thing I didn't even watch. I'm not a fan of candy.

-Now, the peeling of the potato impressed me! I'm sure this method is not new, but I've never seen it before!

Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing Natasha! I loved the strawberry one.....I'm going to use it today with my basket of berries! The potato peeling was pretty cool too!

Kelly:)

Those are cool!

Funny about the cupcake. I have always eaten mine sort of like that. I pinch off the bottom and just eat the frosting and half of the cake. It makes it an easier bite for the cupcake to be half as tall. He put the bottom on top like a sandwich, but I just toss the bottom part. It's not the best part anyway! :)

I loved the cupcake one, mostly because I was thinking how great it must have been to get to eat all those cupcakes! Personally, if it were socially acceptable, I'd just lick off the frosting. :).

The potato one was great!

The potato trick looked really useful. I will try it with the sweet potatoes this year, I hate peeling sweet potatoes for candied yams.

Are you telling me it's not socially acceptable?:eek:;)

I am completely in awe by the Strawberries, potato, and mostly the ketchup! Now I'll probably go spend an hour looking over his website.

Hee! You can lick it off, just don't stick your finger in the frosting and lick it off your finger. I use a spoon or fork. If I'm by myself, well, all bets are off!

Well then, you need to take a good ol' visit to your neighbor up north. Licking icing with your finger is not only socially accepted, but welcomed in public places ;).
