I did KCM Total Body Kickbox 2 Sculpting. I had to go into the tornado shelter today at work not enough room for everyone. My helper is back from vacation so things are so much better.

Had a fairly quiet weekend. Took Saturday off, yesterday I did LLA as is and today X10 Low Impact. I realised that I'd never actually done that one before, as I didn't recognise any of it. Funny, I've had that disc for over a year!
Been out for lunch with fellow homeworkers, had a big bowl of salad, chickpeas, kidney beans, broad beans, butter beans, etc. If there's a bean I ate it!
 
I also took Sat off, i did STS disc 2 (back/bi) Sunday, today I pulled out one I never do, TTM. Much more managable when you give yourself permission to modify! Ronne, I decided on STS because it's been 3 yrs since I last did it and I think I'm to a point I know what I can and can't do an how much weight I can really lift without hurting and not feeling guilty about it. That's a lot of beans! Maybe it's good you worked from home after that! LOL Roxie, wow, I could not imagine going into a tornado shelter with my co-workers! Actually I couldn't imagine going into a tornado shelter at all. Mary, are you back?
 
Hi girls! I'm finally back! Seems like eons! I tried to read and catch up on everyone. Ronnie, that is A LOT of beans! Will it bother you later? Lisa, don't ever feel bad about modifying! I figure some movement is better than nothing! Right? Thanks for comments about DH, he is silly! I lame the firehouse! Roxie, 200 prescriptions to put in the computer and fill? And people waiting behind the desk? I can understand your stress! I did manage to workout all this time. We had a nice time with family last week, took niece around the week before. I'm tired! Lol! Hi everyone! I've been reading once in a while, a few times a week I think. I thought I would pop in since I had something nice to say for a change- I just went hiking in north Ga w/ my older dd for a few days, it was lovely, we really had a nice time. I've got a few days off now and I am loving daylight and sunshine. No workouts to report, glad you all are keeping up! Mary, your family trips always seem so nice, I think b/c you just have a nice family. Roxie, did they close the store during the threat? Ronne, lunch sounds yummy, I've been adding beans to my salads. Maybe you need some leg warmers to go w/ the old style work outs. Lisa, I thought of you on my hikes. It takes a lot longer to hike a mile than it does to jog it. How long are your hikes, time wise? GL w/ STS. I won't try to keep checking in, but I'm still around and keeping an eye on you all. I miss you!
PS I haven't been of FB much, but was on the other day- it asked me if I knew the following people- a guy I went out with on Match one time about a year ago (no chemistry), my ex's GF (no thanks), a guy from AlAnon (so much for anonymous) and the girl my dtr bought her car from off of Craigs list last year. CREEPY

Thanks for the bean concern, everyone. That is pretty much my normal diet as I don't eat meat, so loads of chickpeas with everything, I love them! :)

Lisa - it'll be nice to have a program to follow, that's why I do rotations from time to time so I don't have to think!

Mary - glad you've had a a nice week away, how do you manage to fit workouts in when you're away? Do people come and watch?!!

Jody - good to see you! Sounds like a nice trip with DD. I take it you're still doing nights then? Glad I'm not on Facebook, I like my privacy!

Not sure if I'll get a workout in today, maybe some yoga later. I've been to town this morning getting some last minute bits and pieces. Bought myself a few things for a change, got some earrings, some baggy summer trousers, a cover up for the beach and a top. It's nice going in the morning before the shops get busy. Then treated myself to some sushi for lunch, tuna and salmon, delish!

Sts disc3 legs, wow, hard yet proud of being able to do it. Mary, I'm taking it slow and implementing all I've learned with my new normal. So far so good! Ronne, there are MANY foods that don't agree with me (thanks mom). DH doesn't understand why I like Greek yogurt everyday. It's because it doesn't cause me heartburn! Jody, a good hike is at least 6 hrs, more like 8. Not much hiking here, my BFF is too busy taking care of her mom. She's at the end, but they've been saying that since November and they refuse to put her in a home for various reasons.

I did KCM's Start Here Cardio Only slept on my right side all night with my arm under DH's pillow and woke up with shoulder and neck pain so I wanted something that didn't require a whole lot of arm movements.

Lisa-good job with your workout.

Mary - I'm starting to miss going to see all the kids films, DD isn't so interested any more! She did want to go and see Minions tho, but we've not got time!

Lisa - that is a long time hiking! Not sure I could manage that.

Roxie - good plan.

Did LIS UB premix - feeling quite proud of myself! Quiet work day, so doing some housework etc. DD has gone to an amusement park for the day with her whole year group, 200 14-year-olds, glad I'm not there! ;)
 
Hi all. I just wanted to stop by for a second and update everyone on my absence. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It has been removed and I am on the mend. I had been having headaches and etc and one day could not take it anymore and went to the ER and the rest is history. I see more doctors next week to decide if chemo is needed or only radiation (they think the tumor is related to the breast cancer). So, if you don't mind me asking, please pray for my recovery. I won't be on the forums much, maybe lurking here and there. Hugs to all. Murphy.
 
60 min of spinning today. My knee was really hurting last night (enough that I put ice on it), this morning felt remarkably better. Amazed at how much better considering how much it hurt. Yesterday was patch change day too so I'm really thinking the estrogen helps and I slept awesome last night. Oh Murphy, I wish you weren't going through this! Hugs, prayers, healing strength, and more sent your way! Please stop in for quick updates and more healing vibes from us!
 
Roxie, hope your neck/shoulder pain gets better. That's how I was since I was 20. It caught up to me in the end. Ronne, don't blame you for missing the 200 kids but I do miss amusement parks. Love roller coasters, everything except things that go in circles. No more for me, neck couldn't take it. You could hike that long if you were with a BFF, we have so much fun together, I sure miss her. Nurses told her yesterday they think the mom is very near the end, no more than 4 days. It's tearing her up seeing her mom in pain. We'll have to do lots of healing hikes

Well so far the new dose of progesterone cream is working the way its suppose to but we will find out for sure in a couple of days. My shoulder hurt again last night but I don't think the planks helped. I did KCM's Cardio Quick Fix 1 this morning. It was 101 degrees here today.

Lisa-I am hoping my shoulder heals quick sleeping isn't fun.

Murphy-so sorry to hear about the tumor I hope you get well soon.
 
Sts disc4 c/shoulder /b today. Dog was laying next to me on couch while I ate lunch, I hated to move and accidentally fell asleep, whoops! Roxie, I forget what the progesterone cream helps you with. I only sleep on my back now. I used to exclusively sleep on my left side. Proof an old dog can be taught new tricks!

FWIW, I've been listening to videos on Mercola's website this week with Nicholas Gonzalez- he's an alternative doc who treats w/ nutrition and enzymes. I only mention this b/c I asked *WHY* the heck I was spending so much time on the subject? I listened for literally hours (while I was emotional cleaning my room of photos and dance and years of homeschool kid activities) . So, *just* in case I was meant to mention it, I have done so along with heartfelt apologies for the intrusion.
