3 days...

Cathlete
I posted this question in cathe's forum but I'm open to suggestions. If you could work out for 3 days a week M W & F which cathe workouts would you do to reap benefits?
Thanks!

I love this one! Great question, you are making me think now.....

Day 1 - High Impact Cardio from these choices: CCC, Imax 2 or 3, KPC, Hiit)

Day 2- Low Impact Cardio from these choices: Afterburn, AT, Slide & Glide

Day 3 - Total body weight training w/upper & lower: Muscle Endurance, Muscle Max, STS Total body

My goal would be to get the "best bang for my buck" in the least amount of time.

I'd make at least two of the workouts a weight/cardio one, and the third would depend on my goals: either a full-body weight workout, another weights and cardio workout, or I'd put it on the Wednesday and use it a 'free choice' day and do whatever workout I felt like doing that day.

NO contest for me...I would do weights for sure because I know that is what keeps me firm and in shape...and also because the weight workouts also include cardio where my heart rate gets up....and we women lose muscle so quickly...so I would probably do

STS Total Body

High Reps

Muscle Max or Muscle Endurance

These are all toughies and will do the trick.

I would choose weight training...2 total body and one circuit.:D

High Reps

Advanced High Step Challenge

Muscle Max

I agree with Fit44, High reps and High Step Challenge both have a cardio effect, so you get strength and you work your heart too.

My idea is to split up the cardio so you have more than one day to recover. Like a previous posts, some toning workouts have cardio in it. My rotation is I do a whole series then move to the next like starting from intensity series to hardcore then STS.

HSTA Dvd has excellent "short" premixes. You could do a cardio of your choice and a UB premix then another day a cardio and LB premix etc...
