12 Week Challenge Check in....ALL WELCOME...12/31 START

Hello to everybody, and HAPPY (soon to be) NEW YEAR!!!

There were a few of us who were doing a check in on the forums with the title of "BFL" or "Body For Life" each day. Some of us were following Body For Life strictly (like me) and others were doing a hybrid of BFL and Cathe.

A few folks have PM'd me asking if they could join our 12 week challenge, even though they're not doing BFL in any way.

ABSOLUTELY!

We'll call it our "12 Week Challenge Check In". A few of us, including ME, will be starting Monday, December 31st! YES...New Year's Eve.

12 Weeks. 12 weeks of consistant, dedicated and HEALTHY nutrition, workouts, etc. Whatever plan or rotation you're following, if you'd like to check in with us for the next 12 weeks, PLEASE JOIN US!

I'm in!!!! (But I'll have to start 1/1/08...I know what I'm having for dinner New Year's Eve, and it ain't gonna be very healthy!). BUT, I do plan on getting a very good workout in that day!

Thanks for the invite, Gayle. This could be just the motivation and help I'll need to get 2008 off to a good start!:)
 
12-Week Challenge--I'm In!!!!

As you know, I am fired up and ready for a 12-week challenge with Cathe’s 4-Day Split plus extra Cathe cardio. :7 If we start on New Year’s Eve, we will faithfully finish this challenge on Easter Sunday! :7 I’m in!!!! :7

I have been eating great all week, and this will be the first year I start New Year’s Day from a place of victory instead of getting back on track! :7

YAY!!!! FRIENDS to play with! LOL I'm SOOOOOOOOOO excited! I finished 2007 with a 12 week challenge and it really set the tone for me and 2008. If these last 12 weeks are ANY indication of how my 2008 is going to be, I'll be wearing a bikini IN PUBLIC this summer! LOL

But I will need ALL YOU, MY TEAMMATES, to help me get to that point!

Alrighty then!!! Monday, December 31st, 2007. I (or ANYBODY who is online that morning) will start off our first post Check In post.

12 weeks.

84 days.

84 days to MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!

I'd love to join also. I think it would be wise for me to start on the 2nd, the reson being I'm out celebrating on new year eve and the day after I tend to recover. I would like to say I'll start on the first but I don't want to let myself down or anybody else.

My eating over Christmas has been awful. The rubbish I've eaten has made me feel quite ashamed. The sweets and alcohol. Well I've never ate as much. I feel very fat and bloated. I've tried to carry on with my Cathe workouts but they've been lacking. Oh well a 12 week challenge is just what I need.

Looking forward to the big start.

I'd love to join too. I won't be starting until 1/2/08 though because I know I won't be able to workout or check-in until then. DH and I are going to a wedding on New Year's Eve in the mountains. See you next Wed!

I'm in too! I need all the accountablility I can force on myself ;-)

I have never faltered in my workouts and am probably stronger than I've ever been, but my eating hasn't been great for months and I've got a solid 20lbs to lose. :( I've never had to lose that much weight before, so every little encouragement helps!

Hmm, this is tempting! What are the rules -- 12 weeks of focused workouts and healthy eating? Anything else that I am missing?
 
I think I would like to do this!:) My goal is to be in awesome shape by the time I turn 30 so that gives me 8 monthes! Im just not sure what workouts I will use. The GS series is a real favorite of mine but I will have to figure things out this weekend and have a plan set.

I'd like to join in on this challenge also! I've eaten and splurged a little too much this holiday season, but have to admit that it was worth it! It's time to "get my game face on" and work off these extra lb's.

I'll be checking in on 1/2, and am planning to do the January 08 rotation (once it's posted), what about everyone else?

Count me in as well. I would like to lose 30 pounds (maybe not in 12 weeks) but 24 in 12 weeks will be a good start.
 
MORE friends! YAY!

Katie-12 weeks....CONSISTANCY in whatever workout rotation or program of your choice...CONSISTANCY in healthy eating (again, whatever you choose....some are doing Weight Watchers, some do Body For Life, others follow BFFM, etc).

12 weeks of dedication. CONSISTANCY, that's the goal.

12 weeks takes us to the third week of March (or around there).

Set GOALS of what you want to accomplish in the next 12 weeks. Then, in 12 weeks, look back at those goals and see how you did.

Simple. TOGETHER, 12 weeks will fly by and you'll be ready for ANOTHER 12 weeks!
