OK...One more day of craziness and then I am back to my workouts! This has been a bad week for my workouts:( My eating has been awesome, though! I will see what the scale says tomorrow, but I think it will be a loss. My clothes are feeling better.

This just tells me how important the eating is...my workouts are bed...eating great and I feel good...think of how it would be if the workouts were killer too! I will find out next week (healthy kids, no crazy meetings and baby showers!)!

The baby shower is tomorrow, and I will NOT be snacking on anything unhealthy. I know that I have the willpower!

You all are doing some awesome workouts! I am proud of you and your efforts! I can't believe we are almost through the second week already! With this support, it has flown by and has been easy, as I know that I'll have to report in to y'all!

Sleep well and have a terrific Friday!

Ah I love this challenge! Today I did Leaner Legs, and then Rodney Yee's Yoga Conditioning for Athletes.

Meals today:

1. Go Lean cereal + blueberries, flaxseed, sunflower seeds, soy milk; grapefruit juice
2. 2 rhubarb low sugar muffins, 4 egg whites
3. Tuscan White Bean & Chicken soup, 1 rye crispbread
4. Moroccan Lentil Soup + 1 tsp. nat. pb for healthy fat
5. cottage cheese with cinnamon, 1 Tbsp. nat. pb

Karen, I'm glad the muffins were a hit with all those girls!

Help. I need a speed reading class to stay caught up. I'm a morning person, but you wouldn't know it by how late I post. I don't usually get a chance to read everyone's post til I get home from work and am finished with dinner. By then everyone is gone. Plus I'm in Central Standard Time so I guess I'm behind most of you. I got up this morning at 4:00, retouched my hair roots and then did a 40 min heavy weight workout.

Heather, don't give up. Listen to your body. The reason no loss this week may be due to the lack of sleep. Hopefully things will settle in and you can get a couple of good nights worth of sleep. Remember you're on a journey. Some days the path will seem harder than others, but just think of the reward at your journey's end, a happy healthier you! My dh is always reminding me that the weight did not get there over night and that it is not going to go away over night either.

Isn't it amazing how everyone's pregnancy's are different. I had all day sickness(not just morning sickness), from the time I woke up until after lunch I felt like I was going to heave. I had to eat crackers in bed before I even got up. It lasted until I was almost 6 months along. The good news was I never really had cravings or indigestion. My prenatal vitamin really made me sick. I had to take them at night otherwise I would be miserable.

Hope everyone is set for week 3. Bring it on.

12-Week Check-in

I feel so loved now! Thank you to Lori, Kathy, Karen, Gloria, Heidi, Wendy, Shelia, and Jean for the words of encouragement. By the way, I would never consider giving up on my fitness journey. It was just this challenge, but I am here to stay. I am having some mental and emotional battles right now, and I need to listen to my body. Your responses plus something Cathe wrote today as well as a post by Pinky affirmed that. I went to my Bible study tonight and shared my heart, cried a river of tears, and received prayer. I felt good enough to take on Boot Camp with modifications tonight. I grounded all the airborne jacks, did the kickboxing cycles without weighted gloves, used a 10-inch high step for leg presses, and did cardio gliding while Cathe was doing terminators. I had fun watching her do those though! Tomorrow is my rest day. I am hoping to finish this 3-week rotation with Rhythmic Step on Saturday morning, rest Saturday afternoon, and start something new next week. I was planning to do a challenging 3-week rotation, but I think my body really needs a recovery week until I get caught up on my sleep. I need to start eating more baked potatoes again to kick this depression to the curb as well. I did the second segment of Total Body Stretching last night before I went to bed, and I am planning to do it again tonight. Thank you again for the encouragement and advice.

Blessings,
Heather B.
