100 Push-up challenge, weekend

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend!
I keep blowing the 3rd day, but did remember today!
Because of last week, I'm on day 2, week 2 which came to a total of 44 push-ups.
I did try the 1st on my knees, and actually lowered myself to the ground rather smoothly, of course I couldn't move up, but it's a start!

I did week 4, day 1 today before doing Cardio Coach Press Play as my main workout for the day. 21/25/21/21/32. I did great on the first four sets, but by the last set I was so fried that I had to take several breaks. I wonder if I should go back and repeat last week. I seem to have hit a bit of a plateau...feeling a bit discouraged.:confused:
 
Week 2 Day 3 10/10/8/8/12. When should I do my 2 week test? I would like to start week 3 day 1 Monday so i'm not sure about the rest day in between.
Did Bootcamp today (Intensity series)
 
Whew, this one was tough! I am on Week 3, Day 1, 2nd. Column (missed the 3rd. column by 1 push-up, but NOW I am glad I did.) I, too, struggled with the last set Jodi. It's the first time I have had to take breaks. (Just on the last set) My stats:

Total 83 Push-Ups! I have never struggled like this since I started but I worked chest yesterday and my pecs and shoulders are so sore from heavy weights yesterday. I'll see how I do in 2 days and re-evaluate if I need to retest or re-do a week. Good job everyone...at least we are pushin' along!

Maynardsmom, I was in the same boat as you. I wanted to do mine on Saturday but had just tested on Friday so now my schedule is off. Hmmmm?
 
Yesterday I was off, today was week 3/column 1/day 1.

I did 15/12/12/10/15 for a total of 64. The last 15 were a wee bit shaky and not a pretty site. I feel like the problem lies in my arms and shoulders, as I always feel it there more than my chest. They tire out first, which makes it hard to keep on going. My form is good. What's the deal?

I had to stop a few times too the other day. I am also in week 3. It is a tough week! I did pushups in GS on my toes for most of them the other day instead of following the next day of the plan. I am supposed to do pushups today but it has not been a good day so we will see if I get them in.

Nice job to all those who had a good weekend.
 
Gravy, people. Are these number on toes?? I am pathetic. I can do pretty good strength work for chest, but push ups kill me. I started the challenge weeks ago when Michele posted about it and frankly, need to restart.

My arms seem to be giving out on the last set too, Nan. I don't know which is better when I just can't go on: take a rest for a moment (just a few seconds) then continue on my toes, or just finish out the set on my knees?
 
Gravy, or Good Gravy - just a saying I've said for years. Sort of like Good Grief! I thought it appropriate b/c the numbers you all are posting are amazing and I feel about as adequate as Charlie Brown about right now :confused:
 
That's what I thought you meant, but I wasn't sure.:p

The numbers do go up pretty quickly as you do the program. I can't believe myself how many I can do now. And there was a time not all that long ago when I could barely do 10 on my knees!

I don't want you to feel inadequate Shana...come join us and we'll help encourage you to get to the big numbers too!:)
 
jodijodi - thanks! Since tomorrow is Monday, I will start again. I had said I would join this group when it was started and didn't do it. A fresh start tomorrow :) I'll be here!
