100 push up challenge Thursday

Good Morning

Today is an off day for the pushups. Ran today for 45 min on the treadmill.

Well, I am very sore from yesterday, but I also did a jog and a kettlebell workout, so the pushups were just icing on the cake. And like I said yesterday, I do them on my knees, so I bow to those of you who are on your toes. I am hoping that after doing this challenge on my knees perhaps I’ll be strong enough to try them on my toes (right now I can only do a couple on my toes and I don’t go down very far, so it hardly counts).

Did the numbers change?

I just did my pushups for today...14, 16, 12, 12, 18. However, when I was looking on the website and my log they don't match up. I can't find any day with the numbers I did. I thought maybe I was in the wrong week but I know that I matched DebbieH the other day and so I am not losing my mind but not one of my previous workouts match any of the ones they post. Did anyone else notice this?
 
Today is rest day for me. I'm a little sore today since I did day 1 on Monday, then Tues did PUB, day 2 yesterday. Whew! I am doing NO chest today :)
 
Lainie mentioned that he has changed the numbers on the website. I printed out the whole program last week, so I guess what I have printed has probably changed but I haven't had a chance to go compare.

I will be doing week 2 day 1 later today.

edit: I went to the website, and it looks like he has changed the program. According to what is now there, I should have started the program at week 3! I'm not sure what to do now. I guess I could re-test and see where I am now, or just skip week 2 and go to week 3? Hmmm...

I will have to check it out too! I took another day off from push-ups today. My tri's are fried from Monday's PowerHour and push-ups.

Today I did lowerbody...Butts and Gutts. I may be walking funny tomorrow this was tough!

That is soo funny~I was reading your numbers thinking to myself, "I don't remember seeing a combo of 14, 16, 12, 12's!" He MUST have changed it. I have not checked out the site to see how he changed it yet...wonder if it is a BETTER plan??? Or, is it harder? I am doing okay with the original plan I am using and sturggling on the last couple reps so I think it is a good plan for me. I will check it out to see how it differs. Glad you're not going crazy! Ha! I thought I WAS when I saw your rep numbers! LOL! Okay, off to post in the Friday thread...see you all there and great job everyone, even the knee pusher-uppers! Any position is great at building strength!
