I drank too much water today. I need to count running to the bathroom as cardio! I've been reading my Thyroid Diet book and she really stresses water. Don't know how much medical fact is behind it but I know it won't hurt.
Deb: I'm so happy your dog's test came back fine. You must be so relieved! As for cottage cheese, here's a couple ideas: 'faux' ambrosia - mix in a little sugar free orange jello to cottage cheese and add some crushed pineapple and a couple drops of coconut extract. Also, 'pumpkin pie' - add a dollop or two of canned pumpkin to the cottage cheese, add a little fake sweetener and pumpkin pie spice. 'Apple pie' you already know LOL. Canned peaches in cottage cheese is good too, but try to get the peaches that are packed in water or pineapple juice instead of syrup.
Shannon: Welcome! You must be so happy you can use your elliptical again. I love the elliptical. I just wish I had room for one in my house.
Lainie: You're still getting crazy with those smilies! Take care of that ankle. You might want to put off doing your dome workout if it's still sore. The dome does put a lot of strain on the ankles if the workout calls for stepping on and off of the dome a lot.
TeTe: Welcome!
Tneah: B+G Leg Blast is one of my favorites. I think I did that one every week for several months.
Michele: I got thru SBD phase one a lot better than I had expected, but was not even tempted to continue that phase. The biggest problem for me is that there isn't nearly enough fiber for me (if you know what I mean). I started adding more complex carbs back to my diet yesterday and the first thing I ate was a big bowl of Fiber One. I'm not sure I'm real impressed with the results yet. The best thing about SBD is that I haven't been hungry, so much so that I realized I wasn't eating enough calories. That isn't really good either. I obviously have some tweaking to do 'till I get it right.
