Linda – oh too funny about the number!! It’s lucky, I’m sure!!! Too bad the expo wasn’t totally cool and you couldn’t find anything you needed. I don’t understand these women who are early risers and yet can close the town down! Probably aren’t quite as early a riser as I am! Sounds like your dress plan is a good one! Cyclists have leg and arm warmers that you can pull down when it gets too hot – that’s one thing I think is handy!
Dallas – um, honey, it’s the weekend! You don’t HAVE to get up at 5AM! Enjoy your workout! I am totally with you on 10PM being too late. I’ll probably come home around midnight tonight – the gift exchange probably won’t happen until at least 11PM.
Wendy – sounds like a nice workout you got in there. Sorry about IE being a pain…
Jackie – Yeah – I’m always leery of invisible fences. And the real problem is – once the dog gets through, he doesn’t want to go back because there’s a shock, too. I’m so glad your running partner was good for you! Sounds like a good running partner to have! Enjoy DBF tonight!
Karen – WOW! 6 totes of Halloween stuff? We have one! Some lights and plastic pumpkins so we don’t have to carve them (we did when we had little kids, but…). I won’t ask about Christmas, but I can do the math!
Shelly – Oh don’t you hate that glazed look we get when we talk about our obsession? *sighs* Oh would think as nurses they would really appreciate that – but I guess not.
*Waves madly to Posh!*
Well, I'm finished with Tough Love. Every flipping minute of it! It was a tough workout. There is a lot more standing in this one than in a typical ride or even spinervals. I was strong through out, and only chickened out on one section - where he had us do a standing spin in a really light gear - I went a little heavier on the tension as the really high spins while standing hurt my knees (and I had already done 2 of them!). Not sure I'll be doing that one again any time soon straight thru (I love doing parts of it) but I had to do it once.
