Cathy: So what were you chaperoning tonight? I love the movie
Christmas Vacation! Meet the Parents is also a favorite. I consider it a Christmas movie. I laugh so hard when I watch that one, no matter how many times I have seen it. When is your last day?
Wendy: Looking forward to a cyber training partner.

My friend who is running the marathon too lives down state and she is training with a TNT group or something like that. I don't have the time to drive down there to be a part of the group. It is just too far. I will have to be strong and go it alone. That's ok, that is how I started running in the first place.
Judy: Your menu looks fantastic! It is a nice memory that I have from my childhood watching that movie.
Wendi: Thank you for the card.

It is wicked cold out there. Tomorrow will be almost 30 though, so thats good.

I think I have caught Dh's cold. I hope you are feeling better soon.
Christine: I hope you had a nice rest day today! So you get time off of work around the holidays too? Your meaningful gift memory is wonderful.
Carole: WELCOME BACK!

Sounds like a really nice time! Can't beat favorite Mexican food! Mmmmm!
Linda: Well, it didn't get that cold last night I don't think. Maybe with the windchill. Brrr is right! Wyoming is so pretty, but not when it is that cold! DH took a hunting trip in North Dakota with his brother and dad one winter and it was nasty cold like that. There aren't a lot of trees for wind breaking out there. Great workout today!
Laura: Thank you so much for sharing information about the culture in Africa. I find it so interesting.

I did have a nice day yesterday. Cleaned quite a bit, which is good. Sounds like some good workouts lately!
Brighton: Glad your DH decided to turn around! I bought the Pollan book for myself too and just started reading it. YIKES! I am glad you are feeling better! It didn't turn out to be that cold last night. Cold enough though!
Jackie: Oh dear, I am sorry about your BIL.

How terrible. That is all I can say. I'm sorry and I will be thinking and praying for him. You are welcome for the card.
Shelly: Good to see you again.

You are doing great keeping up with everything!
Did 6 miles this morning. Needed that. Of course I was on the tm. Our road is sheer ice. I made it okay to work, just took it as slow as possible. Winter is a beast right now. The kids couldn't even go out to recess because it was so cold.
Hi to Karen, Posh and anyone else I missed.
Most meaningful gift: That is a hard one. My SIL and BIL drove me out to Montana two years ago. DH does not get along with him at all. He is a bit much. We did have a great trip. When we got to Livingston, DH took the day off work the next day and we all drove around in the Boulder river area and had a picnic lunch. Even though Dh's brother drives him crazy, we showed them the best sites and had a great time. For Christmas the next year we were given a framed picture of DH and I on the river from our day trip. It is so pretty and I cherish it.
