•▪▪• CHEETAHS •▪▪• Welcome Home Week 3/9-3/15

Where you at Brighton!?!? :)

Today will be Burn It Off and maybe Centergy if I feel like battling the crowds at the gym...We'll see....

BBL!

I'm here! :D

Wow, things just have gotten a little crazy busy around here. Trying to get last minute preparations for our trip down to Canyonlands for the half, and all the errands that follow... Then, we've learned that our friend Jen-- the one with brain cancer-- is starting to spiral down pretty quickly... she's growing more and more confused & agitated. Her last MRI showed 8-9 tumors just scattered throughout her brain. So that's been an added stress... trying to figure out how we can get up to visit her before our trip. We don't know how many days/weeks she has left. :(

On a positive note, though,

I know I'm a day early, but the way this week has been going, I wanted to make sure I didn't miss it! I hope you have a wonderful night out tonight! So nice of your mom to watch DS. Don't you love Grandmas? :)

Well, today I think I'm going to forgo the run... maybe a bout on the EXT. The knee is still a little achy, and I want to make sure I'm completely fresh going into the half.

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Brighton--I'm so excited about your upcoming 1/2. I know you'll do great. Yeah--play it safe this week!! So sorry about your friend Jen. We just learned that the wife of one of the pastors at our sending church has very advanced breast cancer. I don't know how they didn't find it before, but her prognosis is not good. It's so tough!! I can't imagine being right there to watch your friend, though. Blessings and hugs to you!!

Wendy--Happy anniversary! Hope the fun with CLX continues!

Our puppies are 2 months old and about to go to their new homes. In one way I'm really excited because then we can focus our attention on the 2 that we're keeping. But I'll miss having the whole crew here. The 5 that we are not keeping are all going to really great homes right here in our neighborhood, so our kids will be able to see them all anytime they want. I'm really glad about that.

I'm waiting for lab tests to come back and tell me what weird kind of bug is cohabiting my GI tract!!
