Cathlete
Good morning, everyone! :) :) :)

Linda—I personally would not do anything (other than walking and stretching) until Wednesday. Maybe even Thursday. (Which is what Higdon recommends in the link Dallas shared.) Some light weights and very easy runs this week would be good. But what you do and how much depends on how you feel, I would say. I did scratch the itch to run on Tuesday, and it went well, but I did realize while I was wobblin’ out there J, that I probably needed a couple days’ break before heading out there again. BTW, how is Squeeze Stronger? I really like the leg and ab work in Squeeze and was hoping this one would be more challenging.

Judy—what an exciting weekend for you and the team. HUGE
congratulationss.gif
to everyone on being the #2 in the world!! Holy smokes! And it sounds like both teams were so strong, it could have gone either way. Wow!...How wonderful DD23 is considering doing a half with you. Great job on your 9.1.

Wendy—hope a good night’s rest helped you ward off that bug.

Karen—hang in there—you’ll weather this storm. When the chips are down and there’s nothing but a wing and a prayer, don’t throw in the towel. Stay the course and keep your chin up. Good times are just around the bend, so look on the bright side. ;) (It was national cliché day yesterday, so that was my lame attempt at bringing a little levity to the situation.) :p

This afternoon will be a run. We have an in-service at school today (no kids), and instead of giving us a lunch break, we are getting an earlier dismissal. Yay. Me like. So, no race to beat the darkness. :)

Have a wonderful day & happy voting!

Good morning gals!

Cathy - I love your cliches, lol! Very true, though! Oh good, nice you get out a bit early today. LOL! No, see, I *had* to do the leaves right then because I *knew* that if I had waited until later I'd get lazy and bag it for the day:p. Glad you'll have a chance to get out there and hit the pavement today...should be perfect running weather. Nice workout Sunday if you've got some good pec DOMS working...that's always where I seems to get it:).

Earthlink wouldn't let me on again last night:mad:. This is happening more and more and I really don't want to call customer service cuz it's just some out-sourced operator who doesn't listen to what the real problem is, just reads off his little script, makes you jump through lotsa unneccessary hoops and still doesn't fix the problema! Okay, 'nuff of that;).

Lunch was yummy...an Italian place we go to pretty often. I had grilled chicken wrap with greens, a bit of gorganzola (bad, I know:p), roasted red peppers and asked for the chipotle remoulade and house dressing for the salad on the side, like a good girl lol. DSO had an awesome salad topped with chicken, roasted red peppers, grilled asparagus and goat cheese...it was ALL yummy!!!

Gettin ready to tackle 4DS UB circuit here in a second. I'll be back afterwards with personals. TTFN!

Wendi—mmm, both of your lunches sound heavenly. I think I want that for breakfast. *lol* Yeah, BM2 fries up the chest for me. I really like the u/b workout. Pinched for time, you do get some bang for yer buck there (see? I'm still goin' strong with the cliches :D). One of these days, I need to try the double premix that everyone speaks highly of...Good job with the leaves, striking while the iron was hot. OK, I'm done beatin' that horse. Really. :p Enjoy the 4DS u/b circuit and hope today is a better day for you.

Hi Voters!

Cathy- Thank for the congrats for DS's team, however we can only say they were #2 in that tournament. It is better for those kids to be under ranked and humble. Ya know they have to keep The Eye of the Tiger!

Wendi- IA about getting those leaves raked before losing momentum! That is how I felt abut the wood stacking.

Speaking of stacking wood, Karen dear, I do hope better days are ahead for you. I did not realize that your parents lived in an in law apt in your home. Do not worry about the candy, this too shall pass. ( I was drawn to some Reeses PB cups myself last night!)
So what are you doing in school today for election day?

I was a *bit* tired from all that has been going on and the time change, consequently I was fast asleep in a chair at 8:30 last night. I did remember to roll out my foot after the long run, becasue I had a few twangs of the PF symptoms. It seems I will need to be attentive in keeping my feet loose.

Today will be a 3 mile run and not sure if anyting else. The 'to do' list and time frame are a bit tight. Hopefully I can swing back at luch time for a quick hello.

Good Morning Cheetahs!

Well, the achey feeling seems to be gone, thank goodness. I have DOMS for sure but that's A-okay with me. ;) I feel better but definately have something goin' on with the phlegm and coughing situation here.

The work out plan is to nix the run and go to Group Groove class at 4:30 so long as I still feel okay later on. :)

Karen: You are very welcome for the hugs. That's what friends are for, right? :)

Christine: Oh your Jimmy is such a handsome boy! My Clyde is such a goofy lad but I guess with a name like Clyde, how can you NOT turn out to be a goof ball, right? :p LOL

Cathy: No need to apologize for the middle school humor. I thought it was quite funny! :D Thanks for the well wishes. I'm keepin' fingers crossed whatever it is doesn't go beyond where it's at right now. Going to pick up more Airborne after work today. Three cheers for getting out early today. Enjoy hittin' that pavement when you get home later. :)

Judy: WOW, your DS and his team kicked butt! Proud mamma is right! Congrats to all involved!!!!

Linda: Sending you vibes for a speedy marathon recovery! :)

Time to get the little guy up!

BBL!

Good morning my cheetah friends. Up early to get some type of run in. Hopefully all will be well with the calf. My eating was great yesterday and the sore candy mouth is starting to heal. :D

Cathy- Love the cliche. Yesterday was just one of those days. Today I'm starting fresh.

Wendy- Hope your cough goes away. I had that cold that lingered for weeks. Stop it in it's tracks. I'm sure if I was eating properly I could have nixed it before it got as bad as it did.

Judy- Today the girls and I are doing a full elecion series. I got each of them a map so when the votes of each state come in this evening they can color it it to see which canidate won the state. I'm taking them with me to vote as I always do plus we are taking my mom as well. Hope your PF stays good. Get out those golf balls. They really do help.

Wendi= Hope you survied your 4ds. Now I need to be off and get my run over with.

Workout, check! Laundry going, check! Lunch made, check! Now a little Cheetah time....

Had a great workout...actually found that I had to increase my weight on the second rounds of chest flys and bicep work so I'm quite happy with that:D.

Cathy - You crack me up babe:p!

Judy - Oh, WOW, congrats to DS and his team!!!!!! That's incredible for them. You have every right to be a VERY proud mama:D! I would love if you and DD would join me for Rock Hill! Actually, getting up here by train is really easy. I can imagine why you'd be tuckered out:eek:. Hope those twangs stop right there and don't get any worse. Have a nice run today!

Wendy - Glad you're feeling at least a leetle bit better. Hopefully you're able to kick the rest of it quickly! So, I take it you liked PP yesterday;). I'm going to bang out the 2X premix on Thursday morning cuz I don't have time for the 3X...unless it rains, of course;), fingers crossed on that one:). Uh, yeah, no, definitely NOT a workout you'd want to do the day before:eek:.

Karen - Oh, dear, {{{{{MEGA HUGS}}}}} coming your way. I wish I had some words of wisdom for you, but I don't:(. You are such an amazing person to be doing all that you are for them. You know that you can come here anytime and vent about anything, right? That's what we're here for:). And please try not to be so hard on yourself, especially right now, 'kay. We all have those times...just keep plugging, love! BTW, I'm with you on eating stellar all day until late evening:confused:. Hey, great job on S&H *and* wood stacking....killer combo:eek:!

Carole - Wow, congrats on another lb lost! Although, I have to second Wendy's comment to ya yesterday:p;)...J/K! So I hope your massage yesterday was heavenly!

Jackie - Fantastic job on the speed ladder yesterday! Toughie!

Christine - Awwwww, love the picks of Mr. Jim...he is just soooo beautiful! LOL about bringing your candy to work to make it "disappear"...great idea!!! I think I missed that DH was travelling:eek:...anywhere interesting?

Linda - Sorry to hear that some soreness has settled in. Just take it easy this week and only do what you *feel* like doing or not doing:). Can't take credit for the term "bosshole"...might have been Cathy???? or Posh????, but it's oh-so-perfect, idn't it:p?

Howdy ho to Posh, Shelly, and Dallas!

Alrighty, time to get moving here:(. See yas tonight! Have a great day!

Good morning cheetahs

Cathy...OMG, cracked up at your PP smiley!!! In fact all your smileys were way cute. Yes, 3 B-Days for Napa! You are sweet...thanks, the lb down did shock me a bit as I figured it'd be up one...:)...I would love to see that collage, if that is possible. WOW...up at 2 AM yesterday? A rest day was a good idea. Enjoy your early day and run this afternoon.

Wendi...sounds like a wonderful lunch yesterday. LOL, like I said to Wendy I am sure the lb down was water...:D..The massage was great and for sure needed.

Wendy...I am sure the lb loss was just water...:D!

Christine...I don't think we have been clear for a few days. The run yesterday was fine, not bad or maybe I want rain so bad it does not matter!! But later in the day it got nasty with rain and wind, then lightening in the evening. Did DD15 get home alright? As far as the eating bad, I really tried not to overdo, and that probably helped. But I think you are right about loosening up a bit and dropping some weight. Yes, I am plank hater too, but I know the exercises you most hate, do the most good! Love the Jimmy pics!! He really is a beautiful dog...:D

Karen...I had no idea about the living situation with your parents. I commend anyone that can take parents in and you have both! As much as I hate to say it, in bigger families it does seem one child does it all. I try and not let that happen to my sister by helping out whenever I can. My parents never had a good relationship either. I always thought they would be happier divorced. My Dad passed away in 1997, so that took care of that! Sending {{{HUGS}}} your way...

Judy...Sounds like an awesome time in Chicago. Kudos to your team for doing so well in the midst of ALL the other teams!! Good job on the 9.1 miles. How cool DD23 is considering a half.

Linda..I think any endurance upper body this week is okay, avoid any lower body!! The EXT would be a good form of cardio also. The massage was great!

I am so glad I got that massage, I think my body was needing one. On the way home I saw a lot of lightening! Today will be legwork (pyramid style) and 40 min on my EXT.

Have a great day...:)

Good Morning Voting Cheetahs!

Cathy – With my phone, I can email photos, but not txt them. I’m not sure if the newer phones have resolved that one. DH is off to South Carolina – and the airline lost his luggage. Actually, looks like the airline lost EVERYONE’s luggage who made the transfer in DC to Charleston. Needless to say, DH is not very happy. I’m chuckling at the PP comment. :D Enjoy your In Service Day! As I vote at the local high school’s library, and In Service Day for our kids would be nice, but I’ll go battle the traffic (literally). :p

Karen – Oh man, sounds like you’re not in a good situation right now! With all that stress, it’s a wonder you manage to work out at all – I’m impressed!! ITA that your sisters should help out. What would happen if you put together a schedule and “expected” their help?

Judy – CONGRATS TO DS15!!!! How wonderful that his team got that far!!! I’ll bet the scouts were looking at your son, but in a future kind of way. How exciting. I’ll be you just had a blast. Glad you were able to catch a later flight home! I can imagine you’re tired. How’s DS today?

Linda – Sounds like you are chomping at the bit to get out there and do weights! Only a Cheetah would be thinking of the next while recovering from the last! Hope walking today is a good thing for you! :pThanks, re: Jimmy. He’s my sweetie – such a loving guy. Yes, the people who were laid off are gone.

Wendy – Glad you are better today! Look into getting some Mucinex – I swear by that stuff – it gets rid of the mucus and stuff with NO side effect – no dry mouth, no spacey feelings – nothing. I love it. Oh, Jimmy is goofy, too – he’s just very photogenic. The picture of him shaking the toy – the mad dog look – that’s more typical of him.

Wendi – I’m sorry you’re having so many issues with your provider! Ooh, your lunch sounds wonderful! Have fun with 4DS UB! DH is in Charleston, SC right now, as I mentioned to Cathy – without luggage. He should have his bags within an hour or so.

Carole – 3 BDays in Napa!!! Oh, I’ll have to make a cake for everyone – a light one! ;) I agree that I want it to rain so badly that I’m more forgiving of the rain! We had bad wind, too –but no lightning. Thanks re: Jimmy – he’s my goofball.

Today is a rest day. I’m actually feeling pretty good today, but I know pushing through would be a bad thing. :p Busy day – the maids will be here so I have to straighten the house, and I have to get out there and vote, take Jim to doggie day care, and get some work done in there somewhere. :D Have a great day everyone!

Stupid trivia 101 – Ever wonder why we vote on the first Tuesday in November? I just heard this on the news and thought it was interesting. November was picked because it is after the crops are in and before the roads are impassible in the winter. It’s on a Tuesday because in the olden days people had to travel miles to vote – often to the nearest town. Sunday was a day of rest and no one would travel, so Monday was the traveling day. People would arrive to their destinations late Monday, vote Tuesday and head back. So if anyone asks you why we vote on the first Tuesday in November – there ya have it! :p

Awww I just read all the responses to my venting last night and you women are just awesomely great friends. I really love all of you.

I can't belive I never told you they lived here. I know if it wasnt' for us they would have not been able to make it. Dh and I really are the caregivers of them. They pay for there own phone and cable and a small amount of electric but dh pretty much does the rest. My home is roomy so they have a seperate enterance, with bedroom, kitchen, dining area, living room and bathroom. Really is was so much easier when they were heathly but I guess deep down I knew someday this would happen. They were between a rock and a hard place so dh and I decided it would be the best for them just to move in. Grant it my kids benefit from having their grandparents here but unlike normal grandparents my mom is never one to babysit. I think since she was a young mother she feels like she did her part. Honeslty she may have babysat for me 6 times in the 11 years of my kids life. I hear about stories of grandparents who have the grandkids for the weekend but that's not my parents. Dh and I really are the parents to them. I really appreciate all the encouragment from my girlfriends here and it goes without saying how much that means.

Today is pretty much all about the election on the home front. I have to get my mom out to go vote and then the girls and I have a project on tap.

Carole- Thanks for the support. It seems in some way we grew up in the same household.

Christine- It totally amazes me about my sisters. They are so self centered. i have said to them numerous times they can come over anytime and do a few things yet none of them come. Like I said the one who does come over it is like she is giving my parents the world. The other two sisters work so I guess they figure I sit around all day and do nothing.

Wendi- Thanks for the hugs. Needed them. I do recommend slow and heavy with wood stacking a great superet. Tomorrow I'm going for bi's and tris and leaf raking.

Oh, I did get my 4 mile run in. I wore a knee brace and somehow it stabalized my calf. Funny but it worked so I can't complain.

Editing because I still can. Mom just called and said she is not going to vote. She is in to much pain this morning. I feel so bad for her. She has never missed voting so I know she is in a lot of pain. Forgot to mention that she is also going to her oncologist tomorrow to have her meds changed. Her face got swollen over the weekend and her cancer doctor thinks that she is allergic to the bone cancer meds. Her body has built a tolerance to the one med and is causing swelling to her face as a side effect. They will change her meds tomorrow. Ok. Now I'm off to get moving.

Good morning! Got my voting out of the way! Can’t wait until this is over with! But, I know we are very lucky to be given the opportunity to even vote :)

Cathy – I went ahead and did the Upper body premix and abs of Squeeze Stronger. I bought it when it first came out, but this is the first time I have done any of it. I do think it will be more advanced than the first one. Haven’t done any of the lower body yet, though! I will wait a while to do any lower body work ;) I will let you know what I think of it, though! The upper body was a fryer! Except…I didn’t notice any “real” back work. There may have been a little, but not much at all. :( So you ran on Tuesday after your marathon? I really wanted to, but didn’t. Enjoy your run and “early out!”.

Wendi – Oh my goodness! The wrap sounds delicious! It is only 10:15 here, but that is making me hungry for lunch, already! Enjoy your Upper Body 4DS! My soreness is feeling better, now!

Judy – Enjoy your 3 mile run. Sorry your foot is a tad “iffy” again. Hopefully the rolling will help it. Sounds like you were really tired from all that went on! They did so good! Is today the high school hockey try out?

Wendy – I am glad you are feeling a tad better! I agree with Christine! The Mucinex really helps me when I get congestion/phlem! Enjoy the Group Groove class! Sounds fun! I am feeling much less sore today! Much, much better! :)

Karen – I will send you the info on the marathon recovery! Enjoy your run! Glad your “candy sore” is healing!

Carole – I am glad the massage helped you! They were giving massages after the marathon, but I had heard you were supposed to wait at least a couple of hours afterwards to get one, so I passed! It sure would feel good right now! Enjoy your leg work and EXT! Thanks for the advice on the weights!

Christine – I didn’t know for sure if the gave the employees any notice, or just “let them go”. How sad. Yes, I have really missed weights! I told DH that I wanted to do Chicago next year and another one in the spring and he looked at me like I was literally crazy. Oh well……like you said….”only a Cheetah!” (but I may be only dreaming!) Interesting bit of trivia! That makes sense! Enjoy your rest day!

This morning was 45 minutes on the EXT with an iClimb and I did the upper body premix of Squeeze stronger. It was light weights/endurance. I felt good afterwards.

Hey to everyone! BBL!

Linda

Karen - We were simulposting! It wasn't until very recently that I started to put it together that you guys were pretty much their caretakers. I didn't realize they lived with you, either at first. I really do admire what you are doing for your parents! I know it is hard in so many ways! It is really hard when it turns around and "we" are the "parent". When my dad was ill with the Parkinson's (he also had a heart transplant) we had to put him in a nursing home. It was so hard. I wanted him to be able to live me, so that I could take care of him. But the last couple of years before he passed away, he couldn't walk or get up, roll over, etc at all. It was like he was dead weight. We couldn't take care of him and it killed me. I truly wish I could have. I know you are under a tremendous amount of stress! I am sorry your mom is feeling bad today! You are in my thoughts and prayers and I hope things turn around towards the good!

Morning Ladies!

I haven't read the rest of y-day's thread or today's. I'll be back a little later for personals. The kids are home today. I did get up early and instead of doing Cardio Kicks I did HLKO. That was super fun. I never really gave that one a "real" try. I think I may have gotten frustrated with the choreography, but today it "sort of" clicked. ;) I still have some work to do.:) Good music as well. I foam rolled w/Kelli's workout...that felt wonderful. I have a slight pain in my left hip. :( It doesn't seem to want to go away. My friend last night freaked me out and said it could be ITB?? Oh dear. I have to read on the net about that. I thought that was on the side of the leg originating in the hip? Maybe it's the beginning stages??? Any suggestions, my Cheetah friends?

Well, have to go...I have to take DD to her friends, then find something to keep the boys busy.

~BBL

PS. How were the voting lines? So, glad I went last week. :)

Hi

Hey Cheetahs!

I’ve had a chance to read over the posts but I don’t have much time to post if I want to get in a workout and make my lunch before I head to the job. I’ve been keeping a pace with lots going on here the past several days – nothing bad – just busy, busy, stuff and visitors, etc. I should have a bit of time tonight after work to post something…..

I can’t get out of here though until I give LINDA an official……

congrats_kitty.gif

Awesome job on your marathon, girl! You really ROCKED it, huh? … TOLD YA!! LOL… YEAH, that would be great if you joined on for Chicago! Oh, and I totally agree that your DH is a real sweetie…thanks for sharing your marathon report… :D

Have a terrific Tuesday, Everyone!!

POSH

Good morning Cheetahs!

Wendy - That Joey is a cutie pie and he chose a cute girlfriend too. The man has taste. Thanks for sharing the pics! Glad the achiness disappeared.

Christine - Love the pics of Jimmy playing. Seems like yesterday he was just a puppy. Hope DH luggage shows up soon. Enjoy your rest day. Thank you for the election day trivia. They use to close schools for 6 weeks here during crop season.

Linda - Running partner and I can only run together on weekends. We both leave for work early in the morning and it's dark when he gets home. I'm ready for this election to be over too. We have to make sure all political mailings have been cleared out of here. Good workout for you today.

Karen - Sorry your dad is forgetting to take his meds. Hope the sign helps to keep the peace. Parents do get set in their ways. I didn't know your parents lived with you either. At least, you don't have to run across town to check on them. Sorry to hear your mom is in pain and she won't get to vote. ((((HUGS)))) for her.

Cathy - Have a good run today. Nice to get out of school earlier today. I got to vote early the first week and took my mom the second week.

Wendi - Sorry for the Earthlink problems. Hate calling CS and I can't understand what they're saying. Nice lunch yesterday.

Judy - Sounds like you had an exciting weekend. Congratulations to DS! I might have missed it, but how did DS leg do? Enjoy your run.

Carole - Glad you enjoyed your massage. I was kind of looking for rain on election day. :D But, it's a beautiful day here. Enjoy your leg workout and EXT.

Dallas - Glad HLKO clicked for you today. Oh, dear, hope the hip is ok. Have you been foam rolling your hip?

Posh - Hello.

Today's workout was a 4 mile run and 4DS Back & Chest.

Have a terrific Tuesday!

Finished voting. Still may take mom out tonight if she is up to it. Mornings are always bad. We had big lines which is a good sign that people are voting.

Linda- Thanks so much. You are a good friend. How is the recovery going. Can you believe it's already over. I felt like my race came and went by so fast that when I did workout again it felt strange not to be on a schedule and be able to so as I wished.

Jackie- thanks so much. I'm glad I dont' have to travel to see them easier. Really I am glad they are here so I can keep an eye on them.Great workout.

Posh- Love the kitty you sent to Linda. Too cute. Have a great day.

Dallas – I have only done HLKO once! I remember it was a lot of fun! Glad you enjoyed it! I hope the pain in your hip goes away and doesn’t stick around. I think IT band can start at the outside of the hip and go down on outside of leg towards knee. I may be wrong, but I think…. Hopefully, someone that knows for sure where the pain travels will answer!

Posh – Awww! What a cute kitten! Thank you so much for the congrats and the faith you had in me! :) I hope you have a good day and evening and that it slows down some for you!

Jackie – I understand! That is the way Patty and I have to do it, too. Most of the time during the week, though….I have to run indoors. Good job on your run and chest and back!

Karen – The recovery seems to be going pretty well! It does seem impossible that it is over with! It seems like it was all a dream and that none of it was even real. It will be nice to know that if I want to do something else, I can actually do it! We had big lines today, too! Usually we don’t have much of a wait, if we go at a certain time of day. This time was different!

Hi there cheetahs! I'm trying to fight off an upper resp virus:( I hardly ever get sick and I can usually fight off a bug before it really takes hold.
I got thru the DM premix and the leg workout yesterday and slept Hard for my nap but felt like crud for most of the night at work:( Well, I only one more night and then it's 3 off:)

I went to vote when I got home this morning after stopping to pick up DH.
There are definitely advantages to living out in the country. There were few people at our humble country municipal building where the polling place was located and DH and I chatted with some neighbors... got in and out in about 10 minutes:D Today is a rest day... going in a tad early to work to give a day shift nurse a chance to get to the polls before closing.

Carole- Already up to 35 miles/week? That is a VERY impressive base mileage to be starting from!! I'm envying you your trail runs. I haven't found a suitable one at all in this area yet. There are trails in the mountain/hills around me here but they are pretty steep, okay for a good hike but not for a run!!

Dallas- Haven't done that BC premix of BM2 for a long time... it is a good one! My 20 mile pace ended up a tad under 10:00 but I really took the first part too fast and consequently paid for it the second 10 miles. You're planning on going to Napa? That's great! going for the full Mary???? I'd say offhand that it's unlikely the hip pain you are experiencing is ITB. There is oodles of resource on the internet on any running website tho. Foam rolling is the ticket to those tight sore areas... works great with the hips IMO.

Linda- So how are you feeling? Have the legs returned to feeling somewhat normal again? Pittsburg is about 2.5 hrs away from me. It's actually closer then Philly. Charleston, WV is about 4hrs south. There's bound to be a nice little race in the future that's travelling distance for us! I like your recovery week workout plans for light weights!

Wendi- sorry you had a tough run yesterday but I'm sure you'll be bouncing right back and will blaze thru the next one. Sounds like you need a new ISP!!

Karen- Poor cheetah! i can really feel your stress level. You are indeed taking on responsibility for 2 households! Have you tried confronting your sisters about lending a bit more of a hand? You really don't have to be the superwoman for everyone ya know! Sending you supportive cheetahhugs!!!! The holiday season will likely be pretty busy for ya and I'd say at this point a May marathon would make more sense for you. Glad to hear that your Mom's oncologist will be making some changes to her meds. Sounds like she is really dealing with some bad side effects. That's great that the knee brace helped you on your run and the calf is doing better!

Wendy- Great job with that PP premix!!! Sorry you are battling some crud now... definitely in sympathy with you on that right now!!! We're both letting the bods rest today I guess, hope you get everything done today. Loved your election day trivia!

Chrsinte- Haven't seen any Jimmy pics in a while. LOVED that last one!! He is such a beautiful and obviously HAPPY dog!!! I know I've said this before, but I'd love to be a dog in your house!!

Cathy- You have without a doubt the best smileys!!! I get such a kick out of reading your posts. Yay for the short work day!!! Hope you get in a great run. That's great that you've put together a collage for your first marathon. Where are you displaying it?

Judy- Congratulations to your stellar hockey playing DS! What a tremendous performance and you have every right to be crowing about it!! So your DD is considering a HM? Where is the one near Wendi that she is considering? Will you do it with her? I'm sure you have a mind boggling to-do list now after your trip.

Jackie- nice mid week workout there! Planning on another long run this weekend with your new training partner?

Posh- Hiya! Loved that congratulations pic for Linda!

I think that about catches me up! Take it easy y'all!

I took a picture of the picture that I had done at the firestation with my little grandson :) That is now my avatar. I am going to try to get the other ones of him with the nice backgrounds into my album on this site. It may be a while before I get it done, though

Grrr...not going to the Groove class today. I want to but I just don't feel quite up to it. :(

I am hoping to fit in something tmrw either in the early early morning or right after work-depending on how I feel ofcourse. I have a full schedule into the evening hours once I pick Joey up from school tmrw so if I don't get a work out in before then it will not happen tmrw either. I guess I'll just hafta play it by ear and try my hardest to roll with it though I'm not very happy about it. :p

Shelly: Yah, looks like we are in crud-fighting mode together! Hope you get better fast! I bought myself some airborne and I'm suckin' that stuff down! I believe in it. Even if it can't STOP it, I believe it lessens and/or shortens it. Can't take credit for the trivia. That was Christine who posted that! :)

Karen: I hope your mom feels up to voting at some point before the polls closed. I am sure it was hard for her not to go this morning. I hope the oncologist finds a good alternate med for her.

Judy: The achiness is in come and go mode apparently cause I ended up feeling lousy this afternoon. Had to lay down for a while. :( Nice work out today. Thanks re Joey and his girlfriend. They are too cute together. :)

Dallas: I don't know anything about ITB syndrome. I'll keep my fingers crossed that that's not what's wrong though!!!

Linda: Nice work out today! I think I have some Mucinex but I have trouble taking it. I can't swallow pills unless they are teeny tiny and these are NOT! I usually chew them or crush them and put them in something but Mucinex is EXTREMELY bitter and foul tasting. I don't know if I can handle it! I could try mixing it in some apple sauce though. Maybe that will cut the yuckiness a bit.

Wendi: Before recently I hadn't really touched the PP/SS dvd in ages. I'm using it alot my current rotation and it's like I've re-discovered it. It's kickin' my arse! Lovin' the premixes on this dvd!!!! I'll have to remember this! I am sooo sore from y'day's work out! YEOWCH! :)

Carole: Oh! Well if it was just water then I guess that's okay. ;):p:D Glad you enjoyed your massage. Hope you had a good work out. As always-hoping John and your mom are doing well!:) 3 B'day's to celebrate in Napa!? I sooo wish I was going to be closer so I could pop by for a visit. I'll be with y'all in spirit though! :D

Christine: LOL about Jimmy. Makes me feel better that I'm not the only one with a totally goofy dog. :D Check out what I wrote to Linda about Mucinex if you want.

Cathy: Totally crackin' up over all of the cliches! Too funny!

It just occurred to me that I got up from a nap a little while ago and never made myself a cup of coffee! What is the world coming to! I must go do that pronto! :D

Hey, anyone notice that I changed my Cheetah name? I changed it because of a conversation that Shelly and I had during the 18 mile race. :D Do you remember that, Shelly?

BBL!
