    Need advice

I would recommend her "Slow & Heavy" series. Also, the Upper Body & Lower Body Pyramid workouts. Both are challenging weight lifting videos that will push you just like a trainer would.

Leg & Glutes /Leaner Legs videos

Thanks...I've been going crazy trying to find them seperately. I have gym style legs and just ordered STS, so I'll probably wait on ordering the CTX series. It sounds like an awesome workout though.

    pullups

Have you tried negatives? You kind of assist yourself with a bench or step on the way up, then slowly return unassisted to the start position / hanging position. I couldn't do pull ups either, but someone at my gym suggested these and it really helped. Good Luck!

Before I sell my leg press....

Hi Cathe, I'm very much looking forward to the STS videos! Just wanted your opinion though. I'm moving, and was going to sell my hip slide/leg press machine, as well as my squat rack and lat pull down equiptment. I haven't been using it much at all, since I primarily workout with your...

What is the latest popular "jeans"???

RE: What is the latest popular Hudson's and 7's are great looking! it all depends on your body style, but I'd give them a try. But really for the price....go try on the Hipster jeans at A&E. They have 2 styles - one with 1% spandex and one without. I love both, the 1% spandex holds it...

Getting back into it and confused!

Lift, Lift, Lift....i agree with the prior post about using cathe's Slow & Heavy or Gym Style. I found the greatest gains re-shaping my body was with lifting 5 days/wk - 3 days heavy and 2 days cardioblast legs or butts & guts (something where you use lighter weights with less rest time so my...

Knees hurt with Ball roll outs

My weight room at home has the interlocking rubber mat squares on the floor and I've never had problems with that exercise hurting my knees. Question on New Software

Ok, I'm technologically challenged and don't have a teenaged child to explain it to me....so to use these digital downloads, do you need a special IPOD? Is is similar to how music is downloaded from napster onto your MP3 player or IPOD?

    Calling all clean eaters . . .

Oxygen Magazine had a GREAT clean eating plan called the Bum Diet in a special Glutes spring 2006 edition. I've been following something close to that, so a typical day looks like: breakfast:4 eggs whites, whole wheat dry toast, coffee midmorning: cooked oatmeal and banana lunch: fish or...

    Why can't I run?

You say you do Cathe's workout all the time...the aerobics or the weight training? I only ask b/c I too ran competitively in high school and college...then I switched to aerobics, b/c running became more of a chore. I just started running again after taking a couple years off, and I've was...

Cathe, You suggest cable pulldowns w/varied handgrips for additional back work. Would you suggest doing these reps and set similar to what is used we do in upper body pyramid? Thanks, Pam

    post pregnancy breasts

Does anyone do decline benchwork for this problem? Any results w/that? This is a frustrating problem b/c despite weight training, it seems that you can only develop the pec muscles under the breast tissue...it doesn't seem to do much for the tissue itself.

    Last bit of cellulite

Also in that Glutes issue of Oxygen was a diet...I think it was called the butt diet. Basically it's clean eating - And it really works! It was easy to follow, I never felt hungry, and helped me get leaner. It was amazing how simple it can be!
