    Imax 3

My favorite is IMAX1, where there are modifications and Hope ends up doing them in a couple intervals. Also, there is minimal choreography in IMAX1 so you can really focus. I tried IMAX3 once and got frustrated with the first combo/interview. Too much choreography for me. I will give the...

Does anyone else have a pitiful tuck jump!?

Lorraine is the best at doing tuck jumps!

Does anyone else have a pitiful tuck jump!?

Renee, you are such a good sport. Your posts make me smile. Actually, high-impact exercise is good for maintaining good bone density, so keep on trucking! Kenja, I wiped out on two separate occasions while doing low impact--Cathe's cross country skiing on the disks. Thank goodness, both...

    KPC

Justine, to do the B&G killer premix, just keep repeating the walking lunge into plie squat segments, firewalker segment, and the body-weight segment over and over again. I think there are a couple other exercises included, but those are the ones that come most readily to mind. And thanks so...

    KPC

That particular premix should come with a warning label!! Killer doesn't begin to describe it.

    Circuit/Metabolic workouts

Awww, such a sweetie. More than one dog is definitely the way to go---they really enjoy having a k9 companion or two. You've got your hands full with those three very intelligent working dogs! It's good they can entertain each other. Our goldens are very smart, which can lead to trouble if they...

Does anyone else have a pitiful tuck jump!?

It tells me you're a sadist! :p Just kidding, Lisa! I wish I could learn to love them because it's difficult to find a workout today that DOESN'T include burpees or other down/up moves.

Does anyone else have a pitiful tuck jump!?

I am so glad that I'm not alone in finding these challenging. I end up doing them at the end of my step and half of the time, my left foot never physically taps the step, just hovers. I'm always afraid that I'm going to trip myself. With practice, I've gotten better at them but I wouldn't miss...

Possibly another Greatest Hits w/ this new release??

I love Susan's DVDs as well, particularly the latest release. You might check out KCM's boxing/kickbox workouts. TLC is one of my favorites and there is Circuit Burn has a couple Boxing/KB premixes (the circuit workouts are great, too). This morning, I did MMA Kickbox, which I enjoy more every...

    Great Glutes = DOMS

GG has a much lower dread factor than B&G. In my opinion, it's equally as effective and there's much more of a fun factor (the segments don't seem endless, save for GG's final floorwork--pizza presses).

Possibly another Greatest Hits w/ this new release??

I've already voted for kickboxing. My beef is there are so many metabolic workouts on the market, I have a hard time finding cardio, particularly steady state and/or low impact. In the end, it doesn't matter because eventually, I would bet both KB and metabolic make it into a Greatest Hits...

Love Lean Legs & Abs and Great Glutes

These workout are fun and extremely effective. Only the end of GG (pizza press section) inspires any dread for me.

Ball of the foot pain and high heels

That's a sign from above to ditch the heels! Seriously, you might want to check out Jill Miller's Quick Fix Lower Body series (you don't have to buy her therapy balls, high bounce pinkies work beautifully). While the entire DVD is wonderfully effective, there is a section on feet/ankles --...

Which dvds (besides Travel Fit) don't require any equipment?

I like Amy Dixon's Breathless Body series, as well (Volume #1 is a bit repetitive, so if that bothers you, go with Volumes 2 and/or 3). Amy shows three levels of the moves, so if you want a low impact day, you are set. Agree with KCM's TLC as a fun, effective one (the premixes will give you...

    Prepatellar bursitis? Squishy kneecap!

Nancy, if it doesn't hurt, it's probably nothing. Regardless, I hope it goes away soon. Must be disconcerting to see it there.
