    How to Eat Intuitively?

Great in theory Intuitive Eating is a great theory, but I've seen too many example of trying this method & not having it succeed on these forums to put much stock in it. People who are accountable with their eating, such as with counting calories or points or some other method of food...

    pantyhose or no?

I agree with A-jock I've seen plenty of bare legs, and I must say that I prefer pantyhose, much as I hate to wear them myself. My are not attractive at all in spite of all my exercise because of my varicose veins, etc. So my vote is Yes to the pantyhose.

salty fix I found that popcorn is a good remedy for a salty craving. I can't keep potato chips in the house because I can't limit myself with them, but Smart Pop is good because it's a lot lower in calories & you can eat the whole bag without a large calorie hit.

Join me for questions about DVD Outfits

Way out of my price range I'm a bit dismayed at the prices of these clothes, as I was with the other clothes Cathe's crew wore that were offered for sale. On my limited budget the cost of one pair of pants would pay a couple of utility bills.

    Gift advice please :)

My suggestion... ...is to get him one or several of the Men's Health books series "Eat This Not That". You may want him to "eat clean," but he may have other ideas about what would work for him. These books advocate making simple changes that add up to "almost" effort weight loss. I...

Do I need a food scale?

Yes to the food scale! I've had an inexpensive one for years, and I swear by it. Right now I use it for portioning chicken for salads, but I also use it for salad dressing portions, and other stuff. I think it's a must-have item for anyone who has to be careful about portions, etc.

    getting older and feeling fatter

Age doesn't not mean you're doomed to be fat 6 years ago when I was 54, I finally lost the 10+ lbs. I'd long wanted to lose but nearly gave up on. I'd quit smoking in 1992, gained about 15 lbs., and couldn't get rid of it despite exercising every way you could think of. Eating IS 80% of...
