My channel of choice that is on mostly all day: Fox News Channel - no explanation needed

Channel that I NEVER watch: MSNBC - no explanation needed

I used to watch Fox and Friends but got tired of Gretchen (is that her name?).

I like Morning Express with Robin Meade - because she's a Chicago person and I really liked her on the local news years ago.

Real Housewives of OC, NY, NJ I will watch but not Atlanta and am not interested in DC
There's a new show on Food Network - Kid in a Candy Store, my son and I like to watch that together.

I also like Chopped and Top Chef
Biggest Loser too

I watched Trauma every week from the day it premiered and hope it returns in the fall.

I am currently hooked on Persons Unknown-watched it from episode one as well.

I enjoy what I think is Pawn Stars. I am so bad, I don't know the name of it for sure but it's about the shop in Las Vegas.

For news, I prefer the PIX morning show.

That's all I can think of. I'm not a big tv person so this is a lot for me.

ETA:: Oh and I am infatuated with prison documentaries. If I am looking to watch a little tv and I see one on, I always stop on that channel. I don't know why??

Ok I am pretty naive when it comes to news channels. Several of you have the following or vise versa:

My channel of choice that is on mostly all day: MSNBC - no explanation needed

Channel that I NEVER watch: Fox news - no explanation needed

I need an explanation - I think it has to do with political views? Can someone enlighten me?

Shows I will always watch:

Ghost Whisperer - even though more corny than before and the whole Jim/Sam thing seriously, seriously irritated me.

I have a few that I watch...

most nights I watch The O'Reilly Factor with my DH after hte kids go to bed
Bones
Big Bang Theory
Desperate Housewives
House
Rescue Me
Entourage

Many of these are still on the DVR waiting to be viewed from last season. I don't stay up late because the kids are up so early.

My daughters like Max and Ruby (I can't stand it) before they go to bed and they also watch The Backyardigans, Dora and Yo Gabba Gabba (another I don't like). They don't get to watch a lot but these are the shows I see most.

My favorites are:

The Good Wife
Dark Blue
The Closer
Next Food Network Star
Chopped
Iron Chef

Embarassed to confess this, but for some reason these shows really intrigue me:

Biggest Loser (even though as a personal trainer I am horrified by much of what they do)
Say Yes to The Dress (I've been married for almost 30 years and most of their dresses cost more than my entire wedding!)
Jersey Couture (used to hang out in Freehold NJ in my salad days, this show is hysterical)
I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant (yikes)

Debbie Russo

This is a fun one. It got me thinking:

Hate to say it, but, I LOVE 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians', & 'Cake Boss' for Reality Shows.

TLC's = LA Ink ( usually repeats )
A&E's = Gene Simmons Family Jewels
FX's = Son's of Anarchy

' Big Bang Theory '
' Two and a Half Men '
' America's Got Talent ' and on Sundays "America's Funniest Videos " with Extreme Home Makeover after that.

Fun post !!

wow! reading thru the list, I don't think any of them apply to me. I don't have any shows I watch on a regular basis, except the Svengoolie movie on Saturday night. And I pay for TV. Why???

I like to watch

Any real life medical shows, Dr G, Trauma, Mystery Diagnosis, anything that doesn't involve babies, I don't like babies.

Dirty Jobs, Mythbusters, the True Horror shows on the Chiller Channel, Wheel of Fortune (dork!), Antiques Roadshow, You are What You Eat, and How Clean is Your House

But I couldn't actually tell you what time they are on. I know the Eat and Clean show on are Sat morning at 10 or 11 (sometime before lunch) but that's it. I don't follow any dramas/sitcoms/series, nor does DH. He is watching Dr Who on DVD now, though.

So yeah, why do I pay for TV?

Debbie Russo

I'm not embarrassed! I love SYTTD! I have seen every episode, sometimes more than once. It's fascinating to me from a sense of being interested in fashion, and also just seeing what girls of today choose for their wedding dresses.

In 1982, my wedding dress cost $600, which was a pretty penny for a dress back then. Now, it would barely buy your veil at Kleinfield's! ;)

Did you see that in a few weeks they are premiering "Say Yes To The Dress - Atlanta"? I can't wait!
