    Lower back pain

Hi Leslie, I also need to do a lot of back strengthening work and find yoga very helpful. There is a book + audio CD by Bryan Kest, called "Spinal Strengthening", which I love to use. He also has another book + CD called "Long, Slow & Deep", which is a strengthening and stretching kind of yoga...

    O.T.....Mascara

Hi Stacy, I have the same trouble! Waterproof mascara is the worst for me but I also have trouble with some brands of lash thickening mascaras. I think the best thing to do is to speak to the consultant and explain the trouble you're having. I'm really happy with the Chanel mascara's and no...

    Lower back pain

I find exercise helps my back pain but there are days when I'm just in too much pain to do anything. On those days I can often heal myself to the point where I can do any kind of cardio by doing Yoga but I often prefer to just do Yoga and then sleep. The way I see it, I have enough days where...

    Herbal cold medicines

I use Echinacea to help me fight off colds and I swear by it. If you already have a cold, it's still worth taking Echinacea because it will cut down the recovery time. I don't know if it helps towards other pains but it certainly does the job when it comes to colds. Hope you feel better soon...

    WHat's with "subthreads"?

RE: WHat's with It looks prettier but but I do prefer to be able to read the whole topic in one go. Also, some of the pages like the "Forums - Post a message" page and the main list look askew in my browser since the upgrade. Everything on the left hand side looks squished and lengthened like...

    Janis Saffel

Yes absolutely :) Kathryn's given you a really good breakdown so I'll just add to it by saying that it's a lot of fun. Janis and Guillermo are very personable and motivating. Hardcore Kickbox Circuit is the first Janis Saffell workout I'd ever done (it definitely won't be my last) but not my...

What are you doing to prepare for the Body Blast Series?

RE: What are you doing to prepare for the Body Blast Se... Step cardio including both IMAX's, Kickboxing, Yoga, Slow & Heavy and Boot Camp. I hope that's enough - I may need to post a note on the door saying "If it gets too quiet in here, call an ambulance!" and that's just for the preview :D...

    Hi, Has anyone got this?

AFAIK, your leg should go no higher than a 90 degree angle when you do a leg press. I found this handy fold-up step stool in the Lakeland catalogue, which can handle up to 150kg in weight (23½ stone) It's 10½ high and £12.95. You can get it online here...

    What's for lunch??

Lunch for me was rocket, watercress and spinach leaves, red and yellow peppers, cucumber, mozzerella, salad onions, mushrooms, santa tomatoes, chicken roasted in sun dried tomatoes and an olive oil dressing. Dinner will probably just be pizza! ATB, - Lisa :)

    Hi, Has anyone got this?

Yes I had this one but I found it to be quite wobbly after a while. It also felt like it was giving way when I used it for step and I was doing all low impact at the time. I bought mine years ago and gave it away when I bought my full size step in Spring this year so things must have improved...
